Rustic exterior by design, contemporary interior, situated in the middle of 25 wooded acres. Enjoy morning coffee in front porch sun after country quiet sleep, except maybe an occasional owl, bobcat, or coyote call. Or sit on back deck for morning sun and shadows play on Blue Ridge Mountains ridges and valleys, with Syon Abby brilliantly lit on sunny mornings. Or sit in rocking chairs at solar installation and watch honeybees at work, season permitting. Come evening sun sets behind the Blue Ridge, and on clear nights enjoy the stars.
Inside on 2nd level, main BR with bath, kitchen, dining, living, laundry room , and aux half-bath. Two steps front entry to 2nd level.
Two bedrooms and full bath with air tub on 3rd level, spacious open loft with seating and work desk.
Spacious comfortable 1st level with queen sleeper sofa and full bath. Stereo receiver, TV, games, turntable and albums, wood stove.
Large rear deck and front porch are covered. Ceiling fans all bedrooms and loft. All electric appliances, propane grill on rear deck. Annual home energy budget provided by grid-tied solar array.
