Pocono Mountains Getaway

For every season, there is a reason to visit the beautiful Pocono Mountains! Stay in our private community townhome with a 3 minutes’ drive to Shawnee Mountain Ski Area, 10 minutes’ drive to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, and 15 minutes’ drive to Bushkill Falls, the Delaware Water Gap, Dunnfield Creek Appalachian Hiking Trail, and East Stroudsburg University (ESU). Come explore the great outdoors or relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Don’t wait. Start planning your next getaway!

Our home has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 Full size beds), Queen sleeper sofa, 2 full baths, a jacuzzi tub, sunken living room with wood burning fireplace, open kitchen and dining room area, washer and dryer, playground for children off the back deck, and 2 parking spaces directly in front of the townhome.

You have access to the entire townhome which comfortably accommodates 6 individuals. If you are a larger family or group, please click on my profile to view our other homes in this complex. Proximity between homes ranges from 30 seconds to a 4-minute walk.

You can contact us before, and at any time during your stay with questions or concerns.

There is a security camera outside the front door and outside the sliding door for the deck.
*Absolutely NO smoking, controlled substances, or firearms on the premises.

*Guests are families and responsible adults over the age of twenty-five.

*Please DO NOT disturb neighbors. If a violation occurs, guests must vacate immediately.

*The front door access code will be sent one day prior to arrival.

*The Wi-Fi name and password are on the fridge magnet.

*PLEASE DO NOT USE LINENS FOR CLEANING. There are appropriate cleaning supplies throughout our home.

*Please place used towels in laundry baskets. There is one in each bedroom closet.

*When checking out, please place all trash and recyclables in cans on the back deck and ensure the fridge is empty.

*Any items that you bring into our home, please take with you when you leave or dispose of them in the garbage.

This townhome was wonderful! It was very inviting, warm, clean, and VERY well stocked with just about everything you need! The kitchen had all your cooking needs, 2 types of coffee makers (drip and keurig), spices, cooking utensils, plates, silverware, mixing bowls, etc. The two bedrooms were very cozy, with plenty of towels and extra blankets/pillows in the closet! The jacuzzi tub was also a big plus! The living room was also very cozy with a fireplace and plenty of blankets to warm up with. There is also a playground for children right outside the back patio!We definitely will return again! Excellent rental.

Short and Sweet Getaway

My husband and I decided on a brief getaway for our wedding anniversary. We wanted a spot where we were able to bring our dog. I found the perfect spot with this location in the Poconos. Located within 7-20 minutes of the places we wanted to go,but off the path to allow for quiet evenings. The home was as pictured. Clean and well kept. In addition our host surprised us with a bottle of wine. I can say this is a location we would consider for future stays in the area.

Property was very nice ,just as advertised, and just what we expected .The only down fall was that both of the bathrooms where up stairs and none downstairs on the main living area .This was just a tiny inconvenience.

Sad this was my last stay of the summer

I stayed here each month this summer and absolutely loved it. This trip was a bit of a weird one. The first day the power went out but there was a flashlight and candles and the host kept in touch regularly. Unfortunately, the night before I was leaving, I shattered my shoulder pretty badly at the river. I have to say this host is amazing and checked in on me often, even after I returned home to make sure I was okay. I encourage you to read my other reviews as they are fairly detailed. Stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Second stay at this wonderful property

I stayed here last month and came back again this month for another relaxing stay (see my previous review as it's super detailed). This time it was just me and my pup. The host is fantastic- super responsive and ridiculously accommodating. I've also gotten to know some of the neighbors. They are all really nice and friendly. The location is tucked away, but the area has so much to do. There's a grocery store, restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive. The property is super spacious and stocked with pretty much everything you could need. I really appreciate the washing machine as I am able to do a load of laundry the night before I leave and not have to worry about it when I get home. Looking forward to two more stays this summer and then coming back next year.

Another great stay --- wonderful host

This was my third stay this summer (see my other reviews for more information about the actual property). This visit to the Poconos was all about trying to clear my head after a really hard bunch of weeks where two of my dear friends died. This VRBO property is so comfortable and Margaret is truly fantastic. Thursday I worked from the townhouse and didn't do much but relax out back on the little porch area afterward. Friday I worked during the day and then spent time at Fustercluck Farm (my friend's goat farm- they are currently closed but offer goat hikes and baby goat snuggles). On Saturday and Sunday afternoon, I took my pup to the Delaware River to swim (about 5 minutes away). The river is awesome for kayaking, paddle boarding, and tubing. Sunday morning I went horseback riding at Mountain Creek Stable. There is so much to do in the area while being tucked away in a fantastic peaceful property to rest and recharge. On the drives in and out, there were so many deer (including a bunch of fawn) in the various fields which really brought a sense of calm over me this trip.

Hidden Poconos Gem in East Stroudsburg

The host is amazing. Great communication and just awesome. I have been staying in this area for a few years and love it. I have friends here and I know where to eat, hike, kayak, swim, etc. The location is super secluded and quiet. There are 2 parking spots directly outside for you. You go up a bunch of stairs to get to the door. You're given an access code to get in/out. Though I saw the photos in the listing, I was really impressed with the layout, the cleanliness, and the special touches. The stocked kitchen is to your left (there's a dishwasher and all the dishes, silverware, and appliances you could ever want) and a washer dryer is to your right. There's a dining room table that seats six people. The living room is a step or two down and features a fire place, large screen tv, lots of games (which came in handy on the rainy days), a love seat, a couch, and 2 long ottomans filled with blankets and sheets if you need to use the pull out couch. There's a closet with a swifter and things like that. Out back is a nice little back porch with two chairs, two tables, and a love seat. If you go up the stairs, you'll find a bathroom with a standup shower that leads to a jacuzzi that leads to a bedroom with two beds. Across the hall is a bedroom with a bed and a bathroom with a bathtub. The bedrooms each have a television and are decorated minimally but really nicely. The bathrooms have a ton of towels and one has a small blow dryer. Stay here. You won't regret it one bit.

We are a 2-minute drive from the Shawnee Mountain ski area and close to hiking trails, treetop adventures, golfing, and water rafting.
