About this property

Hidden Gem - Walk to the Beach!

Remodeled and professionally decorated townhouse in the lush secluded neighborhood of Steward's Watch. Sip your morning coffee on the screened porch while you debate whether to bask on the beach, swim in the pool, kayak on Salt Pond, or play a rousing game of pickleball. The beach is just over a half mile away and you can either walk, drive (and park with provided parking pass), or ride the town trolley which stops 1 block west of the house.

The upstairs bedrooms have a total of two queen beds and two twin beds. There are dressers in each bedroom closet for you to unpack and store your clothes. Amenities include a Weber charcoal grill, a two-person kayak, an outdoor shower, six beach chairs and assorted toys, and a large Frankford commercial beach umbrella. There are two reserved parking spaces in front of the townhouse and several unreserved additional spaces around the neighborhood. Upgraded kitchen and bathrooms.

High-speed internet (no cable TV) is provided along with a 48" flat screen TV in the family room, together with a sound bar and subwoofer, and a Blu-ray/DVD player. You can access streaming services through an Amazon Firestick. There is also a smaller 32" smart TV in the master bedroom which provides access to streaming services.

Sorry, no pets. Also, you will need to bring your own sheets and towels.

Wonderful relaxing week

Russ was such a gracious, accommodating and wonderful host. The home was cozy, modern, clean and had well-stocked kitchen cooking supplies, which we greatly appreciated. There was even coffee, tea and spices. We whole heartedly recommend this home!

Beach week full of more than just the beach!

Wonderful beach get-away! The owner was very responsive to all our questions. The home was beautifully renovated and had a well appointed kitchen which was stocked with the essentials needed to be able to prepare meals at home. Loved the community. The pool, tennnis/pickeball courts, and ability to kayak along the canal and out to Salt Pond was such a bonus. We brought our bicycles and were able to secure them to a bike rack close to the unit. We very much enjoyed the week and look forward to next summer!

This home is a hidden gem! We have been vacationing in Bethany Beach for almost 20 years and it’s been difficult finding a well maintained home without a price gauge. This year we hit the jackpot. Russell was so thoughtful and thorough before, during and after our trip. The home is very clean, well equipped and easy to navigate. The neighborhood is charming and a short walk to restaurants, the beach and downtown. I’m afraid once word gets out about this property it will be hard to come by next year! Kudos to Russell for his spot on hospitality! The Fairbairn family will definitely be back!
