The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility. Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Volcano. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay. The Hawai’i National Park is only 5 minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing all that Hawaii has to offer. The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island.
The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4,000 feet.
Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall at anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits. The water on the water is not consumable and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay. The Volcano Room is a beautiful upstairs Studio apartment that has a Cal King and Twin bed that will comfortably sleep 1-3 guest(s).

Enjoy the beautiful scenery through the large windows. This apartment studio features a little entertainment area with a smart TV and a dining area that can serve as a workspace. On cold nights, there are extra fuzzy blankets and a fireplace to keep your toes nice and warm.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals:
-Propane Stove/Oven
-Refrigerator
-Coffee Station (Keurig, Coffee Pods/Grounds, etc.)
-Hot water kettle
-Microwave
-Toaster
-Dining Set
- Pots & Pans
-Paper Towels

The full bathroom is equipped with your basic toiletries:

-Conditioner
-Body Wash
-Hand Soap

We offer free parking on the premises. There is no assigned parking. Limit 1 vehicle per unit. Parking is for guests only! Visitors must park on the street. Due to HOA rules there is no overnight parking on the street allowed. Mahalo

The Gecko Room is a one bedroom apartment downstairs that offers 1 Queen bed, two twin beds and one futon that comfortably sleeps 6.

Upon entering the place, you and your quest(s) will immediately step into the dining/ kitchen area. There are two tables and a bar top that will seat 6 guests total.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals throughout your stay:
-Hot Plate
-Microwave
-Mini Fridge
-Toaster
-Electric Tea Kettle
-Keurig/Coffee Pot + Coffee & Sugar
-Pots & Pans + All the basic cooking necessities
-Dining Dishes
-Mugs

The full bathroom has all of your basic toiletry needs:

-Body Wash
-Hair Dryer
-First Aid Kit
-Toilet Paper

After a long day, relax near the fireplace in the living room area. Cozy up on the couch with a warm fuzzy blanket and watch a movie on the 32-inch smart TV.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests can enjoy their own private quarters in The Gecko Room and the Volcano Room with the shared outdoor spaces. Shared outdoor spaces include the parking area, driveway, forested yard, and trails.
The hot tub area is currently off limits to guests until further notice.

Please remind and ensure that kids and other guests limit themselves to these designated areas and respect these boundaries, allowing privacy for the other guests.

Parking: There is free parking on the property. No assigned parking. There are four spots total allowing for 1 car per rented room.
Visitors can park on the street.
Parking on the property is for guests only.
There is no overnight parking on the street due to HOA rules.


Late check-ins are allowed. Should you arrive late in the evening, we ask that you please be courteous to other guests staying on the property.
Early check-ins/late check-outs is not always guaranteed, but we will try to accommodate this request as best as we can.

Upon booking this unit, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pacifica Inn, property owners, its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claim, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description, brought for, or on account of: (A) injuries to or death of any person, or (B) damage to any property of any kind whatsoever and to whomsoever belonging,
(C) any sanctions, penalties, or claims of damages resulting from guest's failure to comply with the house rules, host/manager directions, local laws, or (D) any other loss or cost, including but not limited to that caused by the concurrent active or passive negligence of manager or owner and its officers, agents, employees, or servants, resulting from the performance of any work, maintenance or the involvement required to maintain safe and comfortable rental Unit.
