Overall clean but…cheap creaky beds, dirty carpet, cheap linens, a/c that barely worked

The listing needs to mention this is not an ADA accessible location. All bedrooms and bathrooms with showers are on upper levels of the property, not main floor. My mom could not walk the stairs and that made this stay very hard, please let others know this home is not ADA accessible. Otherwise it’s a fantastic location and comfortable beds, huge beautiful windows, and lots of space for a big group. Many parts were nicely maintained, but stair carpet was gross/old/stained/dirty. Check-in/checkout so smooth. Parking pass made available so you can street park, we always found a spot right in front of the unit. Thanks! Would definitely recommend to groups that don’t have issues with stairs.
We liked the apartment very much. It was clean, comfortable, and close to downtown. However, one of the bedrooms did NOT have A/C, the A/C in the living room did not work, the A/C in another bedroom stopped working. We notified the host and expected a call or text directly to my phone, but we never got direct communication with the host. Anyway, we had a great time.
Location was very convenient to everything we had planned so we parked once and walked everywhere. Check-in was easy and the kitchen was functional enough to prepare simple meals for a group of 7.

Location is 10/10! Beds are super comfortable. Host is responsive. Amenities are good but nothing above and beyond. Condo is older and it shows. If you value location and a comfy bed, this is a good choice. If you want a nicer place, keep looking.
Excellent location with plenty of space for our large group! Check in was easy. Had a little trouble figuring out parking but all ended up fine. Would absolutely stay again!
We were within ten minutes of just about everything! Property was clean and just as described, beds were super comfy, and the communication with the host was warm and prompt. Decor was very modern and fresh, which made everything feel like a perfect mix of hotel meets homey. Definitely recommend.
Loved being able to walk to Seattle Center for Space Needle, Nutcracker at Seattle Opera, Pacific Science Center, and Christmas Fair. Home served us well. Thanksgiving dinner was a bit tight with just the bar tables and small kitchen, but we still enjoyed turkey, pie, and many sides. Road noise was less of an issue than we feared with everyone sleeping well. Great place if you want to be close to Seattle Center.

Had great ratings - I think overall a 9.4. My expectations must be different for a property rated this high. Very tired and worn - carpet on stairs is very dirty, walls are beat up, broken chair in the bedroom. Not a very comfortable place to spend time as a group. We basically slept there. Near a very busy street, so a lot of traffic noise. Pictures of bed and bath accurate - common living area not su much
Plugged up bathtub, poor curtain coverage on 3rd floor, house is very stuffy in master bedroom during heatwaves (AC unit ineffective during intense heat) and could really use some box fans.Otherwise, host was courteous. She needs to adjust QR code on welcome sheet as it gives an incorrect wifi password (it has a typo).

This is a very tired and neglected property. The only upside is that it's cheap. You get what you pay for, but, the photos really should be updated to reflect the current condition of the property. From a torn couch, to cabinet doors that are on the verge of falling off, to broken appliances (the bottom rack of the dishwasher was broken, and the doors on both the microwave and the refrigerator are broken), to very dirty carpets, stained and peeling paint, very dusty and barely functional HVAC units; this place is in desperate need of attention. There's also a substantial amount of mold in the master bathroom skylight. Yes, all-in-all, it was pretty clean, but, we were very disappointed. I absolutely do not understand how this place had recent 5-star reviews, because these issues were clearly old and had been deteriorating for some time. Please. Take this property off of the market for a couple of weeks, paint, and repair it. Please fix the furniture, please fix the appliances, and give this place some love.

Warning! If you stay here, take video of condition of the entire unit upon check-out.
The host charges a substantial security deposit and withheld some of ours because she alleged we had broken the door off the microwave. Expedia/VRBO will not approve a review that mentions dollar amounts, so I will just say the amount she withheld was well above what we paid recently to get a new microwave.
We did not break the microwave door. The host did not contact us to ask any questions, she just kept the money. When we contacted her to dispute the charge, she refused to give any of the money back. VRBO refunded us the full amount after we provided a screenshot of a review from another guest ~2 months prior to our stay documenting the microwave door was already broken as well as screenshots from videos taken during our stay showing the door handle was intact.
Otherwise, I agree with recent reviews expressing surprise about the high average review score. The unit is run-down. Issues include a lot of mold in the bathroom skylight, peeling paint, broken furniture, partially broken appliances, worn carpet, stained towels and furniture, etc. Surface cleaning was pretty good, but the unit could use a deep cleaning. The oven was very dirty with lots of food debris.
The beds are comfortable. The location is great for access to Seattle Center Park. There is a lot of traffic noise and window coverings let in a lot of light - bring ear plugs and a sleep mask.
The location of this property is very convenient. It's a short bus ride/walk from the Space Needle. There is a major grocery store a few blocks away and some dining options nearby. The check-in was easy, and the host was very responsive.According to the listing, this property sleeps 10; however, there are not enough dishes to even accommodate 6 people (the number in our party), so we were constantly doing dishes, and we couldn't all enjoy a cup of coffee at the same time. In the common room, there is seating for 9, possibly 10 if you're really friendly, on the sleeper sofa. The main problem with this property, for us, is that we could not get the air conditioning to work properly. We were extremely uncomfortable during our stay (June 15-18, 2026). One room has no air conditioning and no fan. Sleeping with the window open was challenging due to the proximity of a very busy road.In addition, our mattress sagged in the middle. We had to make a wall of pillows between us so we wouldn't crash into each other during the night. Finally, on our first night and into the first full day, a horrific noise came from the roof. We recorded the sound but were unable to share it with the host. However, our host promptly refunded a portion of our first night's stay.
