Here the road ends and your vacation begins! Enjoy this well-loved, well-maintained ocean front cottage. There's no through traffic on this quiet cul-de-sac, offering you a private retreat. We are continually updating and improving this home to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Guests often comment on how clean and fresh this lovely vacation home is. Wonderful Atlantic ocean views, comfortable beds and bedding, a well stocked kitchen, high speed internet and Comcast cable TV all enhance your indoor experience. Be sure to check out the original artwork collection displayed throughout the cottage. Enjoy sitting around the fireplace on a chilly night. Spend your days on the partially covered deck watching the waves or take the private boardwalk over to the beach. If you are looking for a Folly Cottage filled with good vibrations, fond memories and an abundance of charm then Road Ends is the place for you. We allow 1 dog per reservation. Pet fee is $25 per day.

This is not a house but a home with character including some original hard wood floors. It is both well and uniquely appointed! The location is a dream. Gorgeous morning sunrises over the ocean, daily dolphins at play! Folly Beach is neat place with friendly folks. We hope to return next year!

We enjoyed a memorable Christmas vacation at Folly Beach. Dianne’s Beach House was just what we wanted and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect and there was plenty of room for my two adult children and two dogs. The house is charming and bright. The beds, linens and kitchen and baths were clean and comfortable. All appliances worked as they should. Every morning we sat on the porch, enjoyed the view of the expansive beach.The weather was warm and bright and every day we took long walks. Dianne what’s a perfect host that was very responsive and cordial when we communicated. We would definitely want to come back and stay here again!

We were in town for the annual Cooper River Bridge Run....and really enjoyed our stay in this very cool Beach House, very well equipped, comfortable beds and beautiful sunrises. Host was quick to get back to us and great to work with. Would definitely stay again!

Incredible beach week

We had an unforgettable beach week at The Road Ends Here. We felt like we were on a nearly-deserted island with the beach at our doorstep while only being a short ride from all necessary amenities. This cozy hideaway is a treasure!

Michael and Dianne Ray have owned their home on Folly Beach since 2008. We have raised both our children on this beach and could not be more grateful for this community. Folly is a special place for all ages and the locals welcome and embrace all who visit and appreciate the beauty of our beach and city. We are a small property management company on the island, representing a select group of clients and homes. Dianne graduated from Clemson University with a degree in tourism management. Involved in hospitality for more years then she cares to admit,she strives to offer visitors a relaxing and stress free vacation experience. Michael was born and raised in Charleston. He has his Real Estate Brokers license and Charter Boat Captains license. Nothing brings Michael more joy then offering visitors and inside peak to life on the waters of Folly.
