This was a perfect location for trips out and around the area to some of our favorite spots. We especially loved the porch where we had a chance to play our instruments while enjoying the beautiful weather. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to our questions. The house was clean and very comfortable. It was a nice place to bring my dad’s little dog as the yard was just the right size. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This was a very comfy space with plenty of room for our group! It was clean, cozy, and a joy to stay in. We easily drove to skiing at beech mountain from this as our home base!

Gorgeous home! Well equipped, SUPER clean - walking around in white socks was perfectly okay. The home is cozy, private, good views, easy drive to Boone / Blowing Rock / Valle Crucis / Blue Ridge Parkway. House was well appointed with soft leather seating and a gas fireplace, lovely memory foam mattresses in every room, comfy bedding, a lot of storage. Outdoor patio - nice clean gas grill (which we put to use grilling filets), plenty of room with well-appointed outdoor seating and tables. The home and property had everything we wanted and more. Host was very responsive. This one’s a best-kept secret. We’ll be back without a doubt!

Cozy mountain getaway

This is one of the cleanest homes we’ve rented, kitchen and bathrooms are spotless. Appliances and kitchen stuff are all clean and well-organized. The living spaces are very cozy, esp with the fireplace on. It made up for the rainy nights so we cannot use the firepit. Mast Gen store is nearby and was very pleasant and interesting. Highly recommended for families with pets

This property was perfectly described as a cozy mountain hideaway! Up a well maintained driveway, so off the road a bit. Heat and AC worked well and it was located near a favorite park and family in Valle Crucis. Also, not far at all from Boone if you are visiting there. We would definitely stay here again. It is good the owner added instruction on locating it as we still went up the road next door before locating the driveway. We found the easy way to locate it, after dark especially, was see the multiple mailboxes next door, then the single and marked box here. Great place with really front porch and living room. Book this place!
