Wonderful Lake Home

The house was very clean and nicely laid out. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. Home also has a very nice boat dock. Great rental home!

Nice place to relax

We enjoyed our time at the property, hanging at the lake and relaxing. Lovely new place, comfy and plenty of room. We will be back.

PERFECT!!! We rented for our daughter’s Clemson graduation and I truly wish that we found this wonderful home 4 years ago. Everything was absolutely perfect including the Pickleball court in the driveway!!! We had family from overseas and across the country stay with us as we built memories to last a lifetime. Everyone that stayed completely agrees that 5 stars is very well deserved! Betsy was extremely accommodating and communication was excellent. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!!

Awesome Lake Hartwell Rental!

We loved our stay at this property! The house is lovely and in a great spot on the lake. The listing was very accurate, and the owners went out of their way to help us find a boat to rent, give advice on where to shop and eat, and make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Betsy and Allen truly care about their guests, and I'm grateful they let us use their beautiful lake house for a fun 4th of July weekend!

We had a wonderful stay on the lake! The owners were very easy to work with. The home was clean and well organized. Plenty of closet space in the bedrooms and pantry space in the kitchen. The dock had all the necessities and then some - loved the attached dock bench, float mat, and small refrigerator on the dock. We also had a great experience with a pontoon rental through Lake Valet.

We loved our stay at this lakefront house! The house was great for our group of friends, thanks to the large open living space and kitchen, as well as enough privacy and separation between the bedrooms. The host was kind and communicative. The dock was perfect for relaxing, but note that there’s a very steep paved path to get to it that may be tough for some. Overall, we’d recommend this rental and consider staying here again for a Clemson game or lake weekend!

One of guests over the summer rented a golf cart in the area for their elderly father to use on the concrete path to the lake. Great family summer weekend!

The host and house exceeded all expectations! The house was very clean, organized, kid friendly, and perfect for a family trip. Very open floor plan making for perfect family dinners. Very nice basement / patio area for fun and games. The dock was fantastic, made for a wonderful weekend of swimming and boating. Communication with the host was perfect. I highly recommend this vacation rental and would re-book in the future.

One of the top 3 rentals we’ve stayed in. Tastefully decorated. Spotless and uncluttered. Kitchen has everything you might need and more. Thoughtful details. Very roomy. Dock is new. Clean, pretty cove. Would definitely stay here again. Rent a golf cart for those needing assistance to the lake. Steep and long.

Family vacation week

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children spent a wonderful 4th of July week at this property. The layout of the home allowed everyone to have room to spread out, we never felt cramped or crowded. I am very picky about the cleanliness of vacation rentals, and everything at the home was immaculate! We cooked all of our meals at the home, and found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed. Communication was excellent throughout the rental process. Betsy and Allen were so pleasant and easy to work with. We hope to vacation here again next year!

Near Clemson

Our stay at 123 Harbor Lane was wonderful. Upon arrival, one of the first things we noticed was the cleanliness of the home. Also, there was ample space for us to bring in our belongings in the bedrooms and bathrooms without cluttering up the space. There were six adults and we had plenty of room to spread out. We shared a meal with six more family members and the kitchen/dining/living area more than met our needs. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to find everything we needed. We also enjoyed hanging out on the back deck. Although we did not spend time on the dock, we did go down to take a look at the beautiful view. And we got a work out walking back up to the house! We were in town for my daughter’s Clemson graduation which was about a 30 minute drive. Also, the homeowners were very responsive with any questions I had. If you’re looking for a comfortable home in a relaxing setting that’s reasonably close to Clemson, I highly recommend this home.

This delightful home was well suited for our three generation family of 9. Plenty of room to spread out, as well as space for our together time. As others said, kitchen was very well equipped for the cooks among us, and the pickleball court was a big hit. Communication with the owners was excellent, and we had no surprises.Despite the drought that has lowered the water level at Lake Hartwell, the water was still plenty deep at the dock, and great for dives (or cannonballs) off the dock, swimming across the channel, and floating around on noodles or floats. Our fishermen caught striper, large mouth bass, gar and catfish (some from the dock, others while out on a boat). We were prepared for a steep walk on the path to the dock, but no one had any difficulty managing the path to or from the lake. We would definitely enjoy a return to this great house and location!
