We absolutely loved this little gem! It was the perfect place for us. Close to Joshua National Park and town but secluded enough for privacy. It was very clean and I loved cooking on the old stove! Our dogs loved it. Concrete flooring so easy cleanup. We would stay here again.

Stayed during mid-March

Stayed during mid-March. The property is excellently furnished with all the amenities. It was very clean and has great views of the mountains. The hammocks are great for a nap after lunch. The location near the park and Yucca Valley town is great, but still feels somewhat secluded. Be prepared to drive on dirt roads to get there.

This is a truly beautiful property and I would go back again. However, this time I would make sure I have an all-wheel drive vehicle. Guests should be warned that the road is not paved but just sand. In the rain, it would be impossible to navigate with a normal car. Also, there is no need for a large screen TV in the window. It blocks the view of the desert. And a bit more cleaning would be a good idea (the modem was full of dust, as we other less visible places). Finally, I would ask that the owner respond more quickly to emails and texts. We did not receive instructions for entering the property in advance and if we hadn't bumped into the cleaners, we would not have gotten in.
