It was an absolute pleasure to host Francisco and his family at our cabin. Not only were they incredibly kind, considerate, and respectful of the space, but they also went above and beyond in taking care of it. They left everything spotless and in perfect condition. Communication was excellent throughout their stay. We highly recommend them to any host and would be delighted to welcome them back in the future.
We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Strawberry! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our entire Thanksgiving dinner—truly above and beyond. The burn pit was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and we were even lucky enough to see elk crossing right through the property, which made the experience unforgettable. The location was ideal: close enough to amenities when we needed them, but still nestled in a beautiful natural area that felt peaceful and private. The only minor hiccup was that the internet went out during a storm, which was out of anyone’s control—but honestly, we didn’t come here to be on devices anyway, so it didn’t impact our stay at all.Overall, this cabin was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return!
Great property for anyone children up to adults, the only reason I gave 4 stars was because the internet was out due to the storm we had the week before and they couldn't get anyone out to fix it till after our stay. They had a repair guy there the day we left trying to fix it so you should have a 5 star stay when its fixed. There were games in the cabin to keep the kids some what busy for the first 2 days then they wanted to play on there tablets .
This is a great property for a family get together. The host provided lots of information prior to our arrival and was available to answer our questions. Cell phone service is a little spotty, but, hey, you are in the mountains. The kitchen is very well stocked with the equipment needed to cook for a large group. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. It does not have wheelchair access, however the front door has a minimal amount of stairs. We had a great time.
This was our first time to use VRBO and it was absolutely something we will do again. We had 6 adults and 5 children ages 6 mos. through age 9. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed this 'cabin.'
The hosts were very communicative and couldn't have been more pleasant. The outdoor spaces were awesome and we really didn't need to leave the house for anything. The elk wandering through the yard was just icing on the cake!
The inside of the house was spotless. Everything we needed - and more - was just waiting for us.
We loved our short two night stay and we will do it again.

Hosting you and your family was an absolute pleasure. You were very polite, considerate, took great care of the cabin and followed all the house rules and checking out instructions, something that Host appreciate very much. left. I highly recommend you as guests and would be delighted to welcome you back anytime. Thank you for being such fantastic guests!
From the moment we showed interest in her property to hours after we left, Maria was a fantastic host! She is an excellent communicator, had great instructions and support, but most importantly, had a genuine interest in us enjoying our stay when most hosts are only concerned about getting people in and out. She made concessions with our dog and gave us extra time checking in and out, which really helped since we had a big family staying. Even when I needed the wifi code, I heard back within minutes to help. (BTW, the wifi code was provided in several areas of the house and I'm just an idiot that missed it). Truly a gracious and caring host, I wish they were all this way. Thanks again Maria!!
Our group had a great time at this Cozy Cabin in Strawberry! The house was a good size for a group of 4 adults and six kids, ages 3-11. The kitchen was great, with nice appliances and lots of extras. We especially appreciated the little s'mores maker, as we opted not to use the fire pits, due to signage around Pine/Strawberry prohibiting fires while we were there. Our first morning, we had two large elk walk right through the backyard! We also saw squirrels, chipmunks, woodpeckers, and even a beautiful blue jay. It was a nice, peaceful place to rest after going out exploring. It's close to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, 30 minutes from Payson, and about an hour from Blue Ridge Reservoir. It was nice for the kids to be able to be outdoors playing rather than glued to screens, although it was nice to have TVs with streaming apps (Disney) for the moments they needed a little break. Hopefully we can make it back sometime for another stay.
