We loved the neighborhood! There were several nice breakfast spots a short walk away! The shared spaces were nice and we loved the fact that there were plenty of bathrooms for our group!

The host was great and the accommodations were very welcoming and comfortable. One issue is the low door going out to the backyard. I would add a “watch your head” sign above it as I bonked my head pretty bad the first time I went outside.

The check-in process was simple and clear. Access code was sent a few hours before check-in.Once we got settled in, we were off on adventures and continued to move at a fast pace for 4 days!

Great Location

Great location. Within 20 minutes of Dodger Stadium. Universal Studios, Hollywood, Griffith Park. Farmers Market etc. I would stay here again.

I do not want to be unkind so I'm going to make this review as nice as possible. The host is a group of management cohost who admitted they had never been to the property. Now that I have made them aware of athe extreme issues I'm hoping it will help for the next people after me. The house does have a beautiful pool & is the size it claims. The rest of the description does not match. I was not comfortable from the first day however because of the holiday weekend and me having a dog I had no option but to stay. Be prepared that you will need to go to the store for most things. Example cleaning supplies, cooking utensils etc. There is no alkaline water hooked up, the central AC is broken, the kitchen floor is black filthy, cricket infestation,. I got tons of bites the first day laying on the couch. The house smells like pet urine, I rolled up the living room rug and placed it in an unused room . The beds are hard & heavily sprayed with a sent to cover up their age . The stove, you need a lighter for it to work. The toaster oven is broken, the stove has no #'s so you guess how it works & what temperature it is. I was having a bbq & paid for the pool to be heated and they forgot , until I complained which was then too late to heat it in time. The refrigerator is broken it freezes everything! Ruined my food. The backyard furniture was covered in spiderwebs/spiders/ants. I had to scrub the furniture myself. The host is nice but that doesn't matter when its my money wasted-Beware.

Family trip to Universal Studios

Upon arriving our host communicated very well. It was no problems, everything was very descriptive and detailed. The house was beautiful and spacious for our family of 12. It was easy to find and in a beautiful neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again in the future.

Lovely, comfortable, home away from home

My family loved this house and enjoyed our time here immensely! The house had everything our party of 10 needed, including comfortable beds for everyone, 3 full bathrooms, a comfy living room, a washer/dryer, and a pool! We love love loved the pool! The location is perfect! We were close to shopping, Universal Studios, Griffith Observatory, the zoo, etc. It was the perfect base camp for us while we explored the city. 10/10. Also the host was responsive and friendly! We would book this house again in a heartbeat.

The property was in a great location for us and very suitable. It is an older property and shows its age in different ways-mentioned in other reviews. We had a couple of challenges (door lock critical low battery; missing ironing board, etc), but property mgmnt was promptly responsive. Property was adaquately clean, some dirty dishes in the cupboards upon arrival. One aggravation was the 5k deposit they/VRBO take immediately upon reservation (unless you pay more for insurance). That is excessive in my opinion and they tie up those funds plus the cost of rental until 2 weeks after the rental is over. With those in mind, we would still recommend the property.

A few problems when 1st arriving. Vent on floor not secure. 2 year old tripped on. Water not turned on, but manager was quick to respond. Ants on kitchen counter. Garbage bins full.

Good stay, but maintenance and functionality need attentionThe home matched the listing and the host was very responsive—communication was great and check-out was easy. It technically sleeps 12, but isn’t fully functional for a group that size. We ran into a few maintenance issues: not enough towels, a loose floor vent, slow drains, mold in the shower caulk, and limited kitchen supplies (only 6 dinner plates, 6 mugs, no ice, ran out of dishwasher pods). The living room doesn’t seat 12, and there’s no separate sitting area—if someone doesn’t want to watch TV, their only option is to sit on their bed since there are no chairs in the rooms.Overall a good stay, but the property would benefit from some upkeep and better support for larger groups.

I want to start off with im only mentioning this because I think it allows others to know that if a problem comes up this host will handle it quickly. We areived at our origional booking just after 4pm after a long day on the road and at Universal Studios. When we entered the home it had not been serviced by house keeping. I contacted the host who responded within a few minutes and immediatly started working to fix the issue accomadate us. I was a little nervous because we are a large family 2 adults and 7 children, however our host was able to get us moved to another property near by in less than 1 hour which was fantastic! Communication with hoset throught our stay was amazing and when we needed a dust pan and couldnt locate one on the property the host had one sent to us almost immediatly. We will be staying with this host again on our next trip to the area!!
