The map provided in the listing is/was not accurate as to the location of the dwelling. Might want to update the grill type and status as there wasn’t a charcoal grill and no propane tank for the grill that was there so we were not prepared

The house was very clean and very well kept. It was a very cute cabin. However, the pictures of the dock access was inaccurate. The dock was on its side and halfway in the water. It was difficult also to find which canoes or kayaks belonged to the property. We got there at 4 PM however we were not able to get into the property until 4:45 PM because the owners were still cleaning. The Wi-Fi access was horrible! They should really consider changing it to Starlink. Every five or 10 minutes the Wi-Fi access would go out and we had to continually unplug and re-plug in the router. Not sure that I would stay there again, but the house itself is really cute.

Pease Hill

Had a great stay. Very spacious, clean, and welcoming. The shared dock space was a little hectic, but there is nothing truly bad to say.

Hands down best family vacation

Had a great vacation on Brant Lake! The kids loved kayaking and swimming in the lake. Nights at the fire pit and visiting the food truck on the pond is a definite must do. Only disappointing thing was not being lakefront.

We appreciate our guests taking the time to go a review . Just a quick note, the property is not advertised as being directly on the lake. We have two pieces of property. One is the house, and the other is a smaller piece of property with a boat dock and lake access. They are about 400 ft apart. Yes I welcome to bring a boat, use our canoes, or also welcome to access the lake at the beach whichever they prefer. Lakefront homes are much more expensive in terms of rentals, an hour home office a great value in comparison. You get all the benefits of being in a private location on two acres, as well as water access and a dock! 😁

Fabulous stay at a wonderful lake house

This was a great Adirondack lake house. It was immaculately clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need. There were many seating areas to enjoy our family. There were fun games to play. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out to enjoy the lake. The owners were always quick to respond to our questions and wonderful hosts! Can't wait to go back and would absolutely stay there again.

Very Nice Experience!!

We had a Great time!! The house was very comfortable & nicely decorated !! We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit at night , enjoying the warm fire , as the nights were cool! The S’mores were great , but not included. We enjoyed a boat ride on Lake George & also went to Octoberfest. It was a fun weekend! When you book here bring your own towels and bath soap. Also bring your own split firewood. Definitely recommend this house as a Very Nice place to stay !! Owners were very easy to reach for questions. Thank you , Todd!

Adirondack Christmas

The house was great for the six of us and a dog. The property policies regarding pets (keeping them off all furniture and bedding) seem a little unreasonable. We brought lots of blankets to cover the furniture and our own bedding. The stone fireplace and wood stove were perfect for this time of year. Proximity to Gore and Garnet Hill and even Whiteface is a plus. The kitchen could have been better equipped - plenty of plates and good cookware (except baking), but utensils were scarce and we thankfully brought our own dutch oven and good chef knives.

Thank you Peggy, for your feedback and for staying with us. Its a shame that you didn't mention during your stay that you were short on any kitchenware, and as such we were unable to assist. That said, I see a full compliment of dinnerware for at least eight people and all the cookware that we have used as a family. Truthfully though, we do not have a dutch oven and the knives may not be as recently sharpened as the ones that you brought. We're sorry for that! With respect to our pet policy, whenever you go to someone else's home, please remember that it's very difficult to get hair off of expensive bed covers and furniture, but also that other people, whether future guests or the property owners, may also be allergic to animal hair or have an aversion to pet hair on their clothes and personal items. We are also very big on keeping our home sanitary. That's why we ask to keep animals from these area. We're sorry if this proved to be an inconvenience, and are appreciative that you took the time to bring furniture covers, and left the house in good condition. Thanks very much again, and Happy New Year.

Week stay at Pease Hill Rd Brant Lake

Our family had a great time at Pease Hill house on Brant. The dock was a short walk (approx .3 miles from house) We all piled in the truck and parked it right in front of the slip anyway. Little cove area is a bit tight - but protected the pontoon boat from the wind. We enjoyed the evening walks around the bend on Paradise Rd- past the Chippewa resort and the beautiful homes along the shore. Sunset cruises on Brant are fabulous. People on the lake seemed friendly and respectful as well. Good lake to anchor about 100’ from shore in the bays and swim off the boat. Nice little town - convenient to Bolton; Schroon and Chestertown- less than 1/2 hr drive. Has a great time m. Thanks!!

Wonderful home to enjoy Brant Lake and the Adirondacks

My husband, tween son, and I stayed here for five days along with our two black lab mixes. The house was wonderful — very clean with sweet rustic/lake house decor, and literally everything we needed (and didn’t know we needed!) was provided. This included a small ping pong/multi-game table, tons of board games, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, kayaks and life vests, a great kitchen with all the pots/pans/etc to cook at home, and more. The layout was great - bedrooms and bath upstairs, with kitchen, dining room, another bath, laundry, and several different sitting areas on the main floor, giving us room to spread out. The house could easily have accommodated more people if we had a larger group. The location was perfect for us — steps from the lake without being in a busy area, just around the corner from the town boat launch, and close enough to a little downtown area that we were easily able to grab groceries, pickup takeout one night, etc. We enjoyed hiking (15 mins to the Pharaoh Lake Trail trailhead), biking the 13-mile perimeter of the lake, fishing the lake and the nearby Schroon and Hudson Rivers, kayaking, and enjoying all that the Adirondacks has to offer. We planned this trip on short(ish) notice to replace a week in Maine that was canceled because of COVID. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful, dog-friendly home to spend a relaxing week making memories and adventuring with my family. Todd was an excellent host, and I would absolutely come back and stay here again! My son is already talking about coming back in the winter.

Katie- we were very glad to have you! Your son is onto something- winter time is so much fun in this area. if you like cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, ice skating, ice fishing, or snowmobiling and snowshoeing, we have something for everybody. There's a great Park just down the road called Dynamite Hill, they have a rope tow for the kids and a huge sliding Hill that goes down to the baseball diamond. They have a covered small ice rink and a hot chocolate snack shop. We are 15 to 20 minutes from Gore mountain, and about 25 minutes from Garnet Hill Nordic ski center as well as restaurant. Best wishes, Todd

Spacious and very comfy cabin with a great yard and fire pit. Close to the lake, peaceful and clean. Shared dock space needs work but we were able to rent a pontoon and spend two beautiful days on the lake

Beautiful property - slightly up from Brant Lake- very quiet

We enjoyed our week at Pease Hill with our cousins. Evenings outside at the firepit were special- singalongs and marshmallow roasting. The inside is very well decorated and furnished _ Very nice ADK rustic furniture and tables and lamps. We were able to keep our pontoon boat down the street (about .3 miles / 5 min walk) at the dock. Was nice for boat - very little wind at that spot. Would like to do again next year. Thanks

Family Vacation - Brant Lake 7/17-24

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. It was well equipped and spacious enough for us all to spread out and have are own space when the weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed all the games provided especially the tiki toss. We hiked many of the nearby trails and swam and kayaked in the lake. We even had the pleasure of watching a group of deer munch on the red berries from the pantry window. Thanks again for letting us stay in your home. Rose, Brian & Family
