I have to say that the hot tub was great. There were plenty of dishes to make cooking a breeze and they took time to even stock a coffee bar for their guests.
We arrived later than anticipated, but check-in was super easy with a lockbox code to access the main door. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy coffee early the next morning. Refillable ice trays would have been nice to enjoy taking colder water for the day on hikes, exploring, etc.
Hot tub was not full. The jets shot water onto the deck. Battery in the remote for the bedroom ceiling fan was dead. Back door handle was broke. Bed was extremely hard. The road leading to the house is very dangerous. One narrow lane and no lighting of any kinds

Hey Kevin, I understand you are frustrated we did not want to void our cancelation policy and give you a full refund because of your plans being canceled due to snow. I asked if you could submit a photo and if I could help address the hot tub and door handle. I did not hear from you until 36 hours after checkout continuing to push for a full refund. It would mean a lot to us if you were to not take this unfortunate situation out on our family business. Thank you.
This location was perfect to get out of the city for a few days. The view is amazing, the hot tub is relaxing, and the house is adorable. We roasted brauts and had s’mores at the fire pit, read on the deck, and played board games in the living room. We had the best time!

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Sounds like a wonderful time. Can't wait to have you back!
The main issue that we had with this property was the cleanliness. Upon arrival, we were told that we would basically be nickel and dimed for a check-in/out as little as one hour costing 50. The irony here is that this was due to the cleaners having too tight of a schedule to clean…there was a large amount of dust on the ceiling fan. The water in the hot tub was murky causing a sticky feeling once we got out along with a gross odor. The grossest part being that the shower curtain had MOLD all over the bottom so much so that it stuck together — seems like a very obvious thing for a cleaner to notice with a simple to solution by making the owner aware. All the drawers were filled with random items so that we could not use them unless we were to unload everything in them. The remotes for the ceiling fans and lights did not work. When we asked the owner about it, they suggested using batteries in the house that were not accepted in the remotes. They also did not know how to tell us to turn the main light in the living room/kitchen area on. The property as a whole seemed like it was put together very sloppily when it came to the painting, the flooring, base boards, door frames, etc. The bed was also not very comfortable. Lastly, there were no outdoor lights by the door making it nearly impossible to see at night. This is the first bad review we have ever given. It’s a cute and charming property that is still “stay-able,” but there could be some major improvements made.
