Escape to a Mid Century Modern La Jolla retreat! Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac street above Bird Rock minutes from the beach. Stunning ocean views, great location, stylish furnishings, and a tranquil atmosphere.

Relax in the comfortable living spaces or unwind and dine in front of the ocean on the outdoor deck and patio. With its serene ambiance and convenient location to beaches, attractions, downtown and more, this little piece of paradise offers the perfect oasis. Other important things to note:

**IMPORTANT** The home is located in a residential neighborhood. NO PARTIES and NO LOUD MUSIC or NOISE. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Maximum number of guests: 5

• AIR CONDITIONING is not included -- you likely won't miss it! Most of La Jolla homes do not have AC as the coast provides a moderate (~65-78) temperatures year round and there is a natural cool breeze from the hill that flows through the home. Layout & Lifestyle:

• Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to eat healthy and stay energized. i.e.: Utensils, pots, pans, plates, bowls, wine glasses, small appliances, knives, candles, coffee and espresso maker (Nespresso) and much more!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put all the used towels in the washing machine, do not start. Make sure couch is clean, any spills, messes or crumbs are cleaned up in the living, kitchen and bathrooms. All floors to be swept.
Please load all the used dishes in the dishwasher and clean all of the sinks, and any spills or messes and sweep floors. Clean refrigerator to how it was when arrived and fold all blankets.
Please dump all of trash and recycling in the trash bins outside.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No loud noise. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. This is a very quiet street and neighbors are sensitive.
Pets are not allowed on furniture, Guests are responsible for any damages and cleaning

Great location in Bird Rock LaJolla. Nice view of the ocean. You really feel like a local. House was immaculately clean. Host likes to cook so lots of neat utensils and well stocked kitchen.

Relaxing property with lovely views

This vacation rental is located high up on a cul de sac overlooking Mission Bay and with ocean views. Online pictures probably don’t do justice to the views. Neighborhood is quiet and very safe. We slept with windows open every night. The house was very clean and comfortable and was so restful we ended up staying home and relaxing rather than go sightseeing more often than not. John was always quickly responsive. WiFi provided great internet service. We felt very much at home there for the month of July. Thank you, John.

John’s place was absolutely perfect for our La Jolla stay! We were traveling with our two kids and their grandparents and we were looking for a home with a great view, good location and a well appointed kitchen. Well, John’s home checked all of the boxes and exceeded our expectations! The view was truly spectacular with an amazing deck for lounging. John was very responsive when we had questions and he provided a lot of extras that made our stay even more pleasurable. I would definitely stay here again when we are back in SD!

Great Location with Great View!

Great home, very comfortable and clean! It was a perfect location to go to La Jolla Shores, Mission Bay & even Coronado for the day and be able to come back to a quiet peaceful evening, with beautiful views off the deck! Host was very accommodating and available to answer any questions. Would definitely stay there again!
