Erin snd her family were lively guests. So nice to see Erin taking her grandkids on a trip and being a part of their visit to San Diego. I will gladly host them again.
We stayed here for my daughter’s college graduation weekend. The host was fantastic, the place is beautiful, clean and very well stocked. It was open and had plenty of space to visit, inside or out. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. We will find a reason to come again!!
Our stay at this property was perfect for my son’s UCSD graduation, fully stocked home that has been recently remodeled with terrific views. Our host Michael was very attentive and welcoming. You will not be disappointed if you stay at this terrific property, it’s a stunning property.

About the host
Hosted by Michael Librizzi
Hi, I’m Michael — a San Diego local, U.S. Navy veteran, and passionate traveler who has experienced accommodations across the globe. That perspective shapes everything about how I host.
I know what guests actually need: a spotlessly clean space, reliable WiFi, a fully stocked kitchen, and a host who responds fast and knows the city. I’ve built my home around all of that.
Pacific Beach and La Jolla are two of San Diego’s most sought-after neighborhoods — and I’m happy to point you toward the hidden spots most visitors never find. Great local restaurants, uncrowded beaches, surf spots, and day trips are all part of what I love sharing.
My goal is simple: your stay should exceed your expectations from check-in to checkout. Reach out anytime — I’m always available.
Welcome to America’s Finest City.
— Michael
Why they chose this property
Pacific Beach Laid-back, energetic, and beach-forward. Walk to Crystal Pier, surf or paddleboard at Mission Beach, cruise the Mission Bay Boardwalk by bike or rollerblade, or let the kids loose at Belmont Park’s historic Giant Dipper. Kate Sessions Park delivers one of the best panoramic views of San Diego — perfect at sunset.
La Jolla Upscale, scenic, and world-class. La Jolla Cove is extraordinary — snorkel, kayak, or simply watch sea lions from Ellen Browning Scripps Park. Torrey Pines State Reserve offers dramatic coastal hiking, and Torrey Pines Golf Course has hosted the U.S. Open. The Village has excellent restaurants, galleries, and boutique shopping.
Dining Both neighborhoods punch well above their weight for food. Fresh seafood, craft breweries, rooftop ocean dining, and outstanding vegan options are all within easy reach. Ask me for my personal shortlist — I know the spots tourists don’t find.
Day Trips & Attractions SeaWorld, Birch Aquarium, La Jolla Playhouse, The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, Old Town, and the Gaslamp Quarter are all under 30 minutes away.
Ask me anything — I’ve lived here and know where locals actually go.
What makes this property unique
This single-story home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in one of La Jolla’s most peaceful upscale neighborhoods on Mount Soledad — completely private, with no neighboring homes overlooking the property — yet just one mile from the villages of La Jolla and Pacific Beach.
At 2,600 sq ft across three bedrooms and two living rooms, both with fireplaces, smart TVs, and stereo systems, the home lives large. The central kitchen is fully equipped: air fryer oven, rice cooker, multiple coffee makers, blenders, crock pot, steamer pots, two breakfast bars, and everything you need for a gourmet meal or a quick snack.
Outside: two large patios, a spa, BBQ, heater lamp, chaise lounges, and comfortable seating — all completely private.
Traveling with family? The home is fully stocked with baby essentials: crib with linens, high chair, pack-n-play, and children’s dinnerware. Families are genuinely welcome here.
Working remotely? A dedicated home office with dual workstations, monitor, printer/scanner, and office supplies means you never have to compromise your productivity.
Garage and driveway parking, in-unit laundry, central heat/AC, and 500Mbps whole-home WiFi complete the package.
Tranquility, space, and one of San Diego’s most spectacular views — all one mile from the beach.
