This cottage is comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated with art and plants. It is also close to town (walkable), yet in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very helpful with hiking and biking suggestions and even loaned me her bicycle when she found out mine had been stolen in route. I highly recommend this cottage!
We lived our stay at The Farmhouse! The hosts are fantastic, the house and lication oerfect. We can't wait to return and hope it will be a much longer atay next time!!!
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house! The location is perfect—just a short walk to downtown, where we enjoyed exploring the charming shops and restaurants. Additionally, it’s only a quick drive to some beautiful hiking trails.
The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, always prompt to respond and very helpful with local recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to returning in the future!
We loved our stay. The place was spotless. The thoughtful furniture and artwork made you feel like you were in a home, not a sterile rental or hotel. Both beds were very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had a great spice rack and everything else we needed for cooking. The location is right in the heart of Buena Vista, close to restaurants and shops. There are walking trails nearby. You feel like you are actually living in the town and not just visiting. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We hope to come back again soon!
My family of 4 had a lovely little getaway to Buena Vista! We even brought our bikes and rode to main street several times for food, coffee & Ice Cream!!! And there's a bike trail very close by with gorgeous views of Mt. Princeton! You can't beat the view into the owner's yard next door that is beautifully landscaped. The house has a lot of character and had everything we needed, even a small fan in the kitchen to cool it down. It was the only room that was warm without the fan going. We stayed in July and were very comfortable with windows open most of the day with breeze blowing in, shut on the sunny sides, and then cracked at night with ceiling fans going. It was cool/cold at night! Beds were very comfortable. Kids enjoyed playing the games. We'd love to stay again. What a fun & relaxing trip! The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with as well. We give it 5 stars!
Perfect house in Buena Vista w/quick drive to the hot springs
We loved the house. Anne and Emily were great communicators, friendly and helpful, and the house was perfect - we both had our own bedroom and bathroom, we loved the fireplace, and we would have used the back deck if it had been warmer. The neighborhood is quiet and it's a quick walk to downtown and a hiking/bike path. We'd never been to the Mt Princeton Hot Springs and it was just a short drive to get there. Highly recommend both the hot springs and the house.
Had a great stay here. Property is spacious and beautiful. Great job of updating the property while maintaining its 100 year old character.

Artsy, comfortable bungalow
Accessing the bungalow was slightly frustrating as the initial access code was incorrect, however, once we obtained access everything was perfect. The bungalow was adorable, clean, and had everthing we needed. Loved the location. We would definitely stay hete again. 5 stars@everythingcouldve imagined we needed. Loved the location
Everything about this property was top notch. The furnishings created an instant feel of being at home. Extremely clean and well appointed. The property owners were very friendly and offered top level support. Walk to excellent restaurants and shopping, plus excellent “base camp” for hiking, fishing, etc. in the Collegiate Peaks area. Very quiet neighborhood and no extra charge for the daily parade of deer that passed through.

About the host
Hosted by Anne Munch
A lifelong love of the mountains and of small, friendly communities makes Buena Vista the perfect mountain home for us! Anne is a Colorado native and Emily has always lived in the great West. Hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, constant sunshine and our dog Diasy all keep us busy. We love people and we love this town, so let us welcome you!
Why they chose this property
We live right next door in this amazing, quiet and little known neighborhood. Lots of trees, birds, start, deer and plenty of peace and quiet with the town shops, resturants and revelry only a few blocks away. It is the perfect setting.
What makes this property unique
Our nickname for the property is the "farmhouse". Built in 1924, it was the original house from days gone by. The living space is large and sweetly quiet. All the updates make it a perfect place to enjoy time away.
