About this property

Great Home to Relax, unwind and Rejuvenate. Get connected to nature!

Our vacation home is nestled in a private quiet (no loud parties please) H.O.A. community called "Cliff Dwellers". It is composed of south western style homes surrounded seasonably by snow capped mountains in the background. It is secluded yet close to shopping. We are located right across the street from the newest award winning P.G.A golf course, "Copper Rock".
In order to maintain the high standards of our neighborhood there are certain restrictions. No trailers are allowed to be on our property. They have to be stored off site. Available storage is close by.
We have the best of two world's. We are located half way between St. George (less than 20 miles) and Zion National Park (a little more than 20 miles). Acienda is located near the quaint town of Hurricane.

Home Away from Home

We checked off Utah from our bucket list and took our family on a once in a lifetime vacation. Our stay was so comfortable with everything we needed in the kitchen, bath, and bedrooms. Super cozy, with AMAZING views and a quiet neighborhood. Excellent driving distance to numerous places to visit.

Hurricane Stay

The house is very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood with fantastic cliff views. It's close to everything and is well equipped for an extended visit. We were here for 2 weeks with dogs along and it was very comfortable, and Kathryn was a gracious and responsive host!

Great place to stay in a great location

Very comfortable and accommodating. The owners are wonderful and helpful. We have stayed here for four years to go hiking in the area and would love to do so again.

The Aciends was perfect for our family vacation.

The Acienda was the perfect destination for our family vacation to Zion National Park and the surrounding areas. It’s location was perfect for our excursions to Zion, Bryce Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. The owners were accommodating and the house had everything we needed.

Great for family gathering

We spent the Christmas holidays and the accommodations were perfect! It is a great location for exploring the National and state parks, as well as skiing at Brian Head! The house is a little outdated, but hs everything you need. The only negative is that it really needs a good deep cleaning!

Great Southwest Style Home

Lovely Home, Great Location

We had a lovely time at this property. It was a great location, we did a lot of hiking at Red Cliffs Conservation Area and went to Zion National Park. The house was well supplied with everything we needed. The owners were very kind and very responsive to any kind of question or request for help.

Zion Trip

My wife and I were looking for a home base while we visited Zion National Park for a week of hiking and sightseeing. This property looked perfect and in fact it was! It is a nice size home, very comfortably furnished, with all the amenities we needed. It is in a quiet little neighborhood about 5 minutes south of Hurricane was delightful. We met the owner, her son and daughter in law and they are most helpful. Thanks for everything and you have a beautiful place.

Return to Acienda

Having stayed at Acienda a few years back, I was excited to return. Kathyn and John have put together a fantastic vacation rental!! Great amenities, great location. After a day in the national parks, returning to their home feels like you are still in the parks. So quiet and the Stars are so bright. Can't wait to return!! Don

Scenic Location

We spent most the week visiting Zion National Park. After leaving we discovered we left my wife’s prescription medication. We contacted the owner who quickly offered to mail it to us that morning.

Making Memories

This home is fabulous! Our family celebrated our son's 30th birthday here. We found Lupitas for tacos and the Main Street Cafe for breakfast - even thrifted at the thrift store across the street and found treasures. We bought our son's cake at Lins and the icing was the trips to Zion. Just a 25 minute drive. At night we star gazed in the lovely backyard - which has a fantastic view. We saw shooting stars every night. The memories we made here are priceless. Thank you so much to Kathryn our gracious hostess!!

Wonderful Get-A-Way

This home exceeded our expectations. You could not want for anything. Great location for visiting Zion National Park and many other locations in the area. Kathryn and John were so helpful with many recommendations of place to see and go in the area. The location and the quietness of unbelievable. Didn't realize how noisey our neighborhood was until we returned home. Plenty of room for all your family, friends or guests. Big plus it was dog-friendly. Our little guy loved walking outside and seeing the rabbits and roadrunners go bye. We loved the area so much we actually purchased a home while in Hurricane. We can't wait to sell our house and move. We definitely recommendation this place.

Quiet and relaxing.

The property was wonderful. The setting is really pretty and it was close enough to town to make it accessible but far enough to get some peace and quiet and see the wonderful night sky. The home has everything you need to be very comfortable. The only one thing I would note is that the owners live right next door. While this is not necessarily a bad thing I just felt that we had more interaction with them than I would have liked. They are a very pleasant and helpful couple but was looking for a bit of solitude. Again a personal preference more than anything. However, the property itself was fantastic and we could even bring our dogs which is not easy to find a rental that allows multiple pets. Overall a fantastic experience.

Property in decline

This is a large house which means money and labor is needed to maintain it's appearance and function. The house is not cleaned properly. My wife could not use a bathroom it was so dirty. The windows are covered with dust and dirt making them both hard to look at and difficult to see thru. No soap provided for showers, we actually had to go to town and buy soap.

It’s exactly what you are searching for!

Stop scrolling for other stays, you found the right one! Beautiful views for your morning coffee or for that glass of vino at the end of the day! Everything is a short drive! Had some issues with our flight in to the area but our host was unbelievably understanding!! Thank you Ms K !! We will be back!

Charming home! We enjoyed having space to spread out and relax after days hiking. The kitchen had everything we needed and groceries were just a short drive away. There were lots of brochures and information handy. Kathryn responded quickly to our questions.

Excellent Stay

This place is a real gem, such a great place to stay while visiting Zion National Park. The house is so comfortable with southwestern architecture, interior design, landscaping. Lovely house outside of town

The house was lovely and our family (4 adults and two children) had a great time staying there. We enjoyed seeing all the stars in the night sky and watching the quails skitter around the yard in the morning. The house served as a good home base for visiting Zion and Red Reef Recreation Area (highly recommend this gem of a place). The owner was gracious and accommodating..

John and I chose to move to Utah because of the beautiful red rocks and the mountains. We moved from California. We both enjoy the outdoors and Zion National Park. We live next door to our vacation home so we are readily available to answer any questions you may have. We respect your privacy and will not interfere.

What makes this property unique

The benefits are that you are only a 35 minute drive to Zion for hiking etc. You are in an ideal spot for biking with Gooseberry Mesa only a short distance away. There is also an outdoor live theater in a box canyon called Tuacahn. Many retail stores, restaurants etc near by in St. George.
