House was lovely and peaceful. Hosts were so thoughtful and considerate during and after our stay (because we left a personal item behind). Would absolutely book again!
Charming cottage with all the amenities. Owners were easy to work with. I loved sitting on the screened-in porch and relaxing to the sound of waves lapping on the shore. Just the recharge I needed!
The house has a tropical cottage fusion feel and is spacious for its small footprint and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything two cooks could possibly need and then some. The views from the property are breathtaking. But the property features many mature hardwood trees that offer shade and perches for bald eagles. The property also sits atop a sizable cliff along the Chesapeake Bay. There is community access to a playground and the shoreline below where we gathered driftwood, shells and colorful rocks. The property owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!
Another ideal stayHouse was ideal, love being on the water and watching the sunsets.Hearing the water lapping while sitting on the screened in porch in the morning is so lovely
Beautiful property & A++ host. Everything you need for a getaway as well as an incredible location. Neighbors were great as well as surrounding marinas, shops, & restaurants.
We had a fantastic stay! The view was great, and the property was nice, with all the essentials, good wifi, and a spacious yard. The HOA is a friendly community, and Ginny and Dave were great hosts. Highly recommend!

We would love to have you back! I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay!!
We felt very welcome guests in this Chesapeake retreat. From the snacks and coke in the fridge,to the sparkling cabin, everything said "Enjoy." And we did!
My wife and I had such a good time on our first visit we went again, and we had another great trip! We enjoyed peace and quiet and beautiful views of the sunset over the Chesapeake Bay. The cottage is perfect for two and everything is very thoughtfully furnished and arranged.
The property was very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of cooking supplies on hand. The view was amazing. The entire trip was very relaxing… even the storms.
The owners are very pleasant to deal with and wer responsive to messages I will absolutely stay here again.
Having stayed at this Cottage many times before, my latest visit didn’t disappoint. It’s a comfortable, cozy, beautiful spot - quiet, peaceful, with an ongoing parade of boats and birds to entertain. A perfect getaway….
We enjoy everything about this place. Amazing , clean, seeing many eagles, great sunsets and well stocked house. We brought spices and coffee but if you forget, they have you covered. Will be back.

So happy you had such a great time! The eagles never disappoint!
This was our second trip to this wonderful property, and we left wishing we had stayed longer. We will definitely return because we love the area, and the home is exactly what we would want if we were to build our own vacation home. It's such a warm and cozy place. It's even better than the pictures and description depict.
This cottage was over the top with cleanliness, style, location and more… the view is worth every minute of our stay. I cannot wait to come back. I loved, loved this cottage. Fireplace, beautiful kitchen with top of the line pots, pans, dishes, towels. Everything you could ever want, just like being at your own home.
Lovely late summer weekend away! My second day had the perfect breezes to really enjoy sitting outside by the bluff. I’m recovering from an injury so was a bit disappointed by the distance to the beach - about 10 min walk - though it’s not bad if you’re not experiencing mobility difficulties like I am. Beach spot is cute and feels secluded. Well stocked kitchen!
My three sisters and I are caregivers for our 95-year-old father and enjoyed a weekend away together to recharge. We enjoyed this property for both its quaintness and cleanliness. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Hubby and I wanted a quick getaway for our anniversary! This place was the perfect spot. A little out of the way but close enough to several wineries and quaint towns. With beautiful scenery along the way. The house had all you need and more. We spent some time on the screened in porch just relaxing and watching the water. Very quiet and relaxing.

About the host
Hosted by Dave Burke
We have been looking for a place that has a waterfront view, access to the water for boating, swimming and fishing in a small friendly community… comforts of home without the hassle… obviously, we found it! We are hosting for a limited time until we can move here permanently!!
Why they chose this property
We love the quiet of this house while watching boats go by. You can hear water lapping, the eagles, ospreys and hawks calling each other and watch them fishing. The light breeze and the sound of the leaves on the trees lulls us to sleep.
What makes this property unique
We provide sheets and bath towels, body wash, shampoo, laundry detergent (hopefully you don't have to do any...it’s vacation!!) Warm comforters and blankets... It can get chilly at night even in the summer... there is wood for the fire pit outside along the side of the house if you want! We have a smart tv so you can log into your own streaming accounts. The TV is set up to log into your own netflix, hulu, Apple tv, prime video accounts etc… A fun app to download when you are staying is the Marine Traffic App... you can download for free and will show you the boat name, captain, where the boat is going and what the boat is carrying as it passes by the cottage.
