Rejuvenate in the Zen Bath: Close to everything yet so far away!

Step into the outside shower in complete privacy with a stunning view of the natural surroundings. This is a colorful home with a variety of artwork from vintage American to French impressionists, with private decks and a hot tub for relaxation.
Book a relaxing massage outside on the deck or inside in a cozy bedroom. Hire our private chef for a delicious dinner cooked on premises.
Just to note our home and the surrounding area has been completely unaffected by any of the unfortunate wildfires in the region.
Please note that there are no Saturday checkouts without Pre-Approval.

The house has two bedrooms plus Den and 2½ Baths. Relaxing hot tub. Beautiful Zen Bathroom with Private outdoor shower conveniently off the hot tub deck. Sleeps up to 6 people.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen, well-stocked pantry and a comfortable living room/dining room area with a large television, premium channels and wireless internet access.
The main deck off the dining room has a gas grill with patio seating.
Our hot tub deck is adjacent and fully private- just you and the view! Our Zen bathroom with outdoor shower right off the deck means you have all you need without going back into the house.
All bedrooms have comfortable beds with luxury bedding.
Towels are provided as well as soap, shampoo and other toiletries.
Washer & Dryer on site with laundry detergent provided.
Wine and Chocolate provided on arrival. Coffee & Condiments in Kitchen

The house includes a comprehensive guide to entire area with our personal recommendations.
The owners live 1/16 miles away and are available for suggestions and assistance with local activities and winery visits.

Wonderful stay!

We were so grateful for Lucy and Mark's hospitality at this wonderful home. We arrived to food, wine and everything we could possibly need for our stay. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was great, deck was lovely, and our kids enjoyed visiting the donkeys. Highly recommend!

Birthday weekend away

We had a wonderful weekend away staying at this beautiful cottage on a hill. Fully stocked kitchen where we would cook and afterwards enjoying the spa while watching the sunset. We will definitely be back

Beautiful spot!

What a great spot for a girls weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday! Communication was great and prompt, access to property was a breeze, house was very cute and comfortable with all basics (and beyond) covered. Only drawbacks were the steep, bumpy access road and limited parking but these are to be expected given location of home. We are already talking about renting this property again!

Peaceful getaway

The location was excellent, and everything was just as described in the listing. It is a little bit of a drive to get to places, but that made it secluded and quiet, which is what we were looking for. We ate dinner on the patio while admiring the scenery, listening and watching birds and the setting sun. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day visiting wineries. The kitchen had everything we needed. It's nice when the owner of a vacation property cares about the decor. With the home on different levels, there are stairs which were no problem for us.

Excellent getaway

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this house away from home b/c the owners did everything possible to make us feel at home. This is a spacious,newly remodeled ,beautiful house located in the middle of a huge green park like estate with great views and amazingly clean and fresh air. At the same time it is a very short drive away from restaurants,casinos,and wineries. Its 2 spacious decks with jacuzzi ,very comfortable furniture,and outdoor grill make you not wanting to leave or go anywhere at all. In addition it has a fully equipped kitchen,3 spacious bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and luxury linens. Everything in the house is of a great quality,new,and extremely clean. Would highly recommend this property for your vacation. It is a real home away in the best meaning of it. My friends and I hope to return there and have a great time again

Harmony House

This house was so much better than what we could have imagined. Clean, neat, organized, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Lucy left notebooks with instructions on everything you could imagine, plus things to do, resteraunts etc. we needed to text her a few times and the response was within minutes. She even left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. Only complaint I have is linens were washed in scented detergents. Most people would like that but I have lots of allergies, especially to scents. No problem, I bought unscented detergent for myself. I would recommend this house and the owner to anybody. My best experience with home away so far

Newlyweds getaway

We arrived at night so the short drive up the hill seemed longer than it was but the views are incredible. The property is very secluded and beautiful, we really enjoyed the outdoor amenities. Great place, will certainly stay here again.

I felt like i was in a treehouse!

This is a really lovely property. It is very quiet, peaceful and i loved being eye to eye with all the birds landing in the nearby oak trees. Magical!

Great, peaceful escape

Such an amazing space to escape to after a long day of touring vineyards. Enjoyed waking up with coffee in the hot tub and ending the evenings there as well. Comfortable accommodations with all you could possibly need. Felt like a real getaway in nature. Outdoor shower was amazing, deck was perfect, and a great location. We will definitely go back!

Charming and Private Getaway

If you're looking for quiet, privacy, and a beautiful location, you've found it. In just a few minutes the winding road up Taylor Mountain takes you from the relative hustle of the 101 to a tranquil aerie with the sweet aroma of pine and views of the valley below. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and chocolates, along with a very detailed binder of the home's features and ideas for nearby activities. We loved the decor and enjoyed reading about the artwork. We took advantage of the unexpectedly well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grill to make delicious meals after long days of hiking and wine tasting. You will only need to bring the food you want to prepare - there are ample spices and cookware in the kitchen. The outdoor spaces were perfect for morning coffee and evening meals, and the in-ground jacuzzi was a wonderful way to soothe aching muscles and enjoy a glass of wine under the stars at the end of the day. Even in California February evenings come with a chill in the air, and the host provided space heaters and ample blankets to stay warm in the comfortable bed. We found the location to be the perfect distance to wineries in Sonoma and Napa Valleys, Sonoma Coast State Park, and an easy trip to Santa Rosa to enjoy restaurants and breweries. We also took advantage of the well-stocked game closet, but weren't able to figure out Rummikub. It might have been the wine... Our only regret with this booking was that we didn't plan for a longer vacation. Overall, wonderfully attentive and responsive, yet non-intrusive, hosts and an excellent home away for those looking for peace and quiet, but still close to what this beautiful area has to offer.

We have rented many homes through VRBO and this was one of our favorite

The view was absolutely spectacular both day and night especially at sunset. The Hot tub was absolutely fantastic at night to watch the stars. The house was extremely comfortable and it was great to have four bedrooms.

Relaxing weekend!

It was a fantastic getaway! There was so much personality in the whole house. We really loved how each room was decorated. The layout of the house was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with the necessities, including the all important coffee. We loved how secluded the location while still being about 15 minutes away from everything one could possibly need. The views were breathtaking no matter what time of day or night it was. Our favorite was the welcome binder that clearly outlined everything you could want to know about the house and the surrounding area. Very clear to understand with helpful photos so that there was no confusion. We have already talked about coming back for another stay and we have already shared the listing with friends for their future gatherings.

Peaceful Location

My wife and I very much enjoyed the peaceful Harmony House. Everything was as shown in the listing, and the location was great. Remote and very private. We enjoyed meals on the patio looking at the view and the sunsets. The hot tub and outdoor shower were great. The kitchen was well equipped, and the internet worked great such that we could stream a Netflix movie. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for a quite and private house, but not too far from great parks, the coast, and wine tasting.

Relaxing retreat

What a great place to spend a girls get away! It's nestled a bit off the beaten path but close enough to enjoy daytrips to wine country. Everything we could have needed was provided and we each had our own room that was very private. Harmony House is a truly special place and we cannot wait to book our next trip! We would highly recommend a stay here!!

Great private retreat in the trees!

This lovely house was the perfect retreat for 2 couples and 1 baby. Everything was well stocked and very clean, exactly as pictured in the posting. The outdoor shower was lovely and the hot tub was awesome. It’s centrally located for a visit to wine country. The house is up on a mountain with beautiful views of the property but the roads are a bit steep so you just need to be careful driving up and down. We would definitely come back!

Secluded and Serene

We stayed at Harmony House for a week in mid-March. The property is nicely kept. There was plenty of space for 4 people and we took advantage of the Jacuzzi several times. I would recommend this house for folks who are in good shape as the stairs can be tedious (3 bedrooms are downstairs). The upstairs alcove bedroom is fabulously cute. The kitchen is large and open and a great space to work in. The trees and quiet solitude were very nice; plus the wild turkeys and frogs making their nightly rounds were really enjoyable to hear. The road to this property from the main street is winding and about 1.5 miles. The property does recycling and that was nice to see. We took advantage of reading numerous flyers and brochures left by others as well. We didn't get a chance to meet the owners, but they are available pretty much any time by email or phone. All in all, a great stay.

Why they chose this property

Secluded Dream Vacation! We are in a spectacular spot on the third mountain ridge in from the Pacific Ocean with no close neighbors and complete privacy.
Sonoma is on the fourth mountain ridge and Napa is on the fifth mountain ridge.
The property is at 1000 feet so we are often above the weather, enjoying bright sunshine while the valley below and the view all the way west is shrouded in fog. It is a incredible sight. Or occasionally we are in the cloud and there is soft mist all around- very lovely. It is secluded but very close to everything too. Our deck is very private and with a hot tub and beautiful adjacent outdoor shower. We offer the additional luxury of amazing massage on premises & a private chef service by appointment.
