Beautifully furnished and lovingly maintained luxury condo has state of the art amenities to ensure that you enjoy all of the comforts of home including top of the line bedding. Two free high-speed internet available in the unit and an additional high-speed internet throughout the facility, cable TV including Apple TV, Netflix, Wii including games and free calls to Mexico, including international calls to US and Canada. Each bedroom offers private full bathrooms for complete privacy. Master Bath includes double sinks and new oversized soaking tub including luxury shower. New hot water heater added in 2018. Enjoy the extended balcony with access from every room including private access from the bedrooms with plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy the sunsets or view the ocean and beach. Heated (most condos do not offer heated pools) freshwater pool and beachfront access to enjoy snorkeling/diving/fishing, etc. An on-site chef is available to cook for you and bring refreshing drinks at the beach or pool. The condo is spacious, comfortable, and in convenient proximity to the ground level with the pool and ocean access. The condo was clean when we arrived, and we didn’t mind going without daily housekeeping service. The beds were comfortable, although the bedding / comforters needed a wash in two rooms. The condo didn’t have bar soap for the showers, but it wasn’t a big deal to buy it at a store in town. The internet / WiFi speed at the condo was sufficient for our purposes (typically measured at 5mps download per Speedtest.net). The property is quiet, nice, and conveniently located to town via a short drive or USD 10-ish taxi ride each way. We rented a car for most of our stay, and it was easy to find street parking within a short walk of the property. The snorkeling outside the property was fun, especially off the south side of the property. The property staff was friendly and helpful. While we were there, they did use far too much chlorine in the pool, which turned our daughter’s hair slightly green (just in time for St. Paddy’s Day). We had an outstanding experience with the owner / property manager, who was very responsible and helpful. We definitely hope to return.

Beautiful condo! Great vacation! Spectacular views!

Our family of 5 adults stayed at Casa de Tortuga last week and enjoyed time away from the snow and cold in Denver and Pittsburg. The condo is everything it is advertised to be and more. It is spacious, bright, and airy, and very clean and well maintained. It comes well stocked so we didn't have to run to the Mega for things like paper towels or dish soap. The staff at Peninsula Grand is friendly and very helpful. We spent many delightful hours at the pool- the chef does an amazinig job with food and drinks! The condo is a short cab ride from town and the ferry to Playa del Carmen. The cabs are plentiful and the drivers are polite and helpful. We rented a car one day and toured the island, but really didn't feel the need to have one any other time. Our family would highly recommend this condo and would love to return!

Exceeded expectations

Beautiful views. Amazing snorkeling just steps away. The chef was great. Quiet and peaceful property. Loved our balconies. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. This place is a gem. Only downside was the work the contractors were doing below us. Lots of drilling. I am sure that is out of the property owners control. We would love to come back. Kids had a blast!

Stayed here with our college aged kids. Everyone loved the balcony, views, proximity to the pool and beach. Online photos are accurate. Kitchen had all the necessities. Greatly appreciated the heated pool We found it a bit challenging to coordinate dinner with onsite chef, Angel so we used a different service with Karla Espinoza (excellent). Discovered its best to speak directly with Angel and reserve him a day in advance. Every morning we walked to Maple Bakery in town for excellent croissants. Round trip is 4.5 miles. We also recommend Booking a tour with the Pearl Farm. It’s on the northern part of Cozumel where the beach is awesome and walkable

Spacious and Great Location

Overall great stay. The condo is spacious and was perfect for our family of five. The location is very good and close to downtown access. We enjoyed the walking path on the road for morning runs and access to restaurants to the north which you could walk to in 10 minutes. The property is quiet and the staff is very polite. In transparency, the unit could use some updates and a little attention to repairs. Two of the shower heads were not operational. Fortunately, there are four showers so was not a major issue. The fitness center is in need of attention for sure. The equipment is aged and limited; some of it not operational. Wouldn't take much to make the fitness center amazing with the ocean view! The unit kitchen was well stocked with whatever was needed. Bottled water jugs were supplied. The one thing that should be realized is that the building is tall and the beach faces the west. What this means is that the beach/pool are shaded until late morning or noon time. My wife and daughter opted to go to another hotel a few doors down on days that they wanted to sit out in the sun. This was not a major issue because it was a short walk and the hotel welcomed us to come and use the facilities (including their swim up bar). But I thought it would be important to share this one detail. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

this unit is on the 1st floor and the balcony is massive, each room has its own glass doors to the balcony. The view to wake up to every day is stunning. The unit has everything you would need. The Property Manager was very easy to deal with and was always available. Highly recommended !

Unbelievably perfect.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while enjoying the island. Just wait until you catch a sunset from the condo’s balcony... talk about the epitome of soothing. The staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly and accommodating from the get go. They had a private chef on site so one day we got an octopus from the local market and brought it back for him to cook for us that evening. There was a place two doors down from the condo that served really good mojitos and fajitas that we indulged in more than a couple of times. Town was just a $5 taxi trip away. We rented a car for a couple of days and never had any issues with parking it right outside of the condo. Initially we had plans to traipse around the island. However, after arriving and experiencing that first sunset from the porch we decided that the best place on the island and ended up spending the majority of our time sitting out there, enjoying our slice of paradise for the week. I would definitely recommend this place, and would return to it.

I have been coming to Cozumel for about 30 years now. I enjoy staying at Peninsula Grand because it is quiet and relaxing while at the same time your 5 min from town and all the shopping and restaurants are available to you. You won’t find a better condo to stay in anywhere on the island. GG

Highly recommend for a stay on Cozumel! Well decorated and nice space for large family. Secure building and close to downtown. The chef on site is excellent... arrange for Angel to prepare a dinner for you on at least one night!

Wonderful, relaxing family vacation!

The condo was everything we had hoped for and more. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. Plus, we loved having the large patio. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the steps. The condo location was great: a short drive from the airport and town. We'll definitely be back.

Spacious, Clean, Million Dollar Views!

The pictures online do not reflect just how spacious this condo is. The kitchen is large, master bathroom is huge and the rest of the space is roomy too! The owner has thought of everything. Room darkening blinds, ice cold a/c, towels provided by the place! It was a wonderful vacation. There is even large 5 gallon tubs of bottled water provided. The grounds are well kept and the chef on site is ridiculously affordable. $2.50 USD guacamole and chips brought right to you on in the sand. Owner was super quick to answer all of my questions! I would rent here again. It's about a $5.00 USD cab ride into the heart of town. Cabs come easily once you walk outside. Perfect, quiet, relaxing, beautiful place!!

Lovely condo in great location

What a wonderful condo!! Beautiful location and well-appointed with lots space. There is a chef on-site and the food/drinks he prepared for us were delicious and very reasonably priced. We loved the large balcony and comfortable seating. There are nice walking paths to the north and south. The heated pool is wonderful. A great vacation retreat--- we will return!!

Everything you could want....

Great location with a warm friendly environment. I have stayed here for many years and you can't find a better place to relax with the beautiful views of the carribean. The cook on site does a great job and will cook for you whatever your heart desires for a great price.

Perfect Island Getaway

The condo is beautiful and in a great location. It has the largest balcony in the complex and because it is on the second floor it overlooks the pool and waterfront. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships passing by but were far enough away to not be affected by the hustle and bustle of all their passengers. A short walk away are 2 other condo buildings with great and reasonably-priced restaurants (breakfast at the Coral Princess was terrific and the grouper and tuna filets at the Bistro were delicious). Pepe's Dive Shop, where we rented snorkel equipment, was right next to the Coral Princess, as well. The condo is well-equipped, nicely decorated, and quite roomy. We couldn't find any wash clothes but we purchased a few at the Mega Store and are now using them in our own rental condo in Rockport, Texas. Before our stay I emailed the owner several times with questions and she was extremely generous in providing tips and helpful information. Highly recommended !!

So comfortable, and incredible views above and below the water!!

We were a group of three couples and our daughter slept on the couch. The condo had incredible views from each bedroom, as well as the spacious porch where we left our snorkel equipment to dry out each day. Staying in this safe, clean and uncrowded building was a 10 for our vacation! Plenty of fun to do on the island each day, but so nice to come home and relax in the pool, or never leave the property at all and just enjoy the snorkeling and beach right on site. Roxanne and Alex (property manager) were so helpful and timely to help us with any questions. They also helped us to set up a deep sea fishing trip and someone to cook our catch, right in the condo that night. We really loved this vacation, and staying at Peninsula Grand made it so relaxing. Thank you Roxanne and Alex!

Relaxing retreat

After a week of multiple scuba dives a day, staying here for a few days was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation. The staff here is A+ and ready to help with any needs/requests. I appreciated having a phone number to call to get quick questions answered - Alex was great. The condo was clean and comfy with lots of room to spread out. This is the kind of place that you walk in, drop your bags, and feel totally at home and relaxed. I was very thankful to have this retreat after such a hectic schedule. Thank you ! ! !

My wife and I with 3 of our children aged 10 through 15 had an excellent experience at this property. The cleanliness, staff, convenience and security could not have been better. The onsite chef, Darwin, was a complete surprise. The meals he provided were so inexpensive that we wound up enjoying much more time in the sun than we expected since we avoided cooking and eating out for a number of our meals. This property will be our first choice upon our return to CZM!

We love the Island of Cozumel and know that you will too. We have been traveling to Cozumel for 15 plus years and had the honor of purchasing in 2014. The diving and snorkeling is absolutely unbelievable and a "must-do" if you visit. The culture is very laid back and the Island is very friendly and accustom to plenty of visitors as many crew ships frequent this quaint Island. Although Spanish is the spoken language, many people speak English. The Island is a hidden gem waiting for you to come and enjoy.

The building of Peninsula Grand offers 24/7 security with a gate including parking. The freshwater pool, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, is heated which many are not on the Island. We offer an air-conditioned top of the line work out center including a sauna and massage room. Additionally, there is an air-conditioned game room with a pool table and big-screen TV. We have an excellent chef on-site to cook and serve cold drinks.

This property is lovingly updated and maintained. We offer two free high-speed internets within the condo, free calling to Mexico, US and Canada, two large TVs with cable, Apple TV and Wii including games. It features all new bedding including pillow top mattresses and furniture throughout. Each bedroom features its own privacy including a full-bath and outdoor access to the balcony to enjoy the ocean-view and beautiful sunsets every day. All of the air-conditioning units are new and serviced on a regular basis. You comfort and happiness is extremely important to us. We will happily plan all of your excursions for you so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation.
