We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully updated and maintained 200 yr old property. In addition to offering a full kitchen, laundry and ample parking, little touches throughout (snacks and bottles of spring water, toiletries - perfect when one forgets their toothbrush, tissues etc.) were a delight.

They had a very nicely stocked kitchen. Perfectly fine for a few days stay and the area is lovely. Note that it is on a busy road and also very close to a fire station.

Historic Barker House was the perfect accommodation for our visit to Gettysburg and historic Hanover with plenty of 19th-century charm and all the modern comforts. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with everything we needed, and the coffee shop/bakery right down the street was great for a morning treat. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the stories of the Civil War history of the house. Highly recommended!

Great stay and perfect location

I was in town for a few short days. The location definitely is very close to Gettysburg as well as walking distance to the local coffee shop winery and a few other store fronts.
