Great place and it has all the stuff you need if you want to cook but it is also in a great location close to shopping and restaurants. Pool area was great and tempurature was perfect.

Great Place to Stay

This unit was very clean and well maintained. Looks like recent updating and great furnishings. The location is absolutely excellent and is close to shopping and good restaurants. Nicely appointed all round and the kitchen was perfect. Parking is right outside the door. Would stay here again!

Thank you for the review. We were unaware that the DVD player had disappeared and we will be replacing it right away. I do wish you had let us know when you discovered it missing, as we'd have gotten one there during your visit. We're also contacting the manager of the association to determine why the air conditioning wasn't working in the clubhouse. We do always strive to provide all and more than is expected for our guests.

Loved Plaza Residences in Scottsdale, AZ.

The 2BR 2BA condo that we rented was immaculate, and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds and linens were very nice. The condo is a short walk to a beautiful pool, and hot tub within the complex. It's located within walking distance to Kierland Plaza, which has great shopping and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this condo.

High Quality Accomodation

The furnishings in this condo are of very high quality. The dishes, flatware, and pots/pans are very good as is the bedding. It all appears newly furnished. and even the patio set is comfortable. The pool area is wonderful, as always. There are no “views” from this condo but that is true of most units in this complex. The location of The Plaza cannot be beat. Both Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland Commons are very walkable. We have stayed here before and will again.

Good location

This complex is very conveniently located to shopping, restaurants,grocery. However, there was an almost constant noise from the airport. The pool area was pretty but very busy making getting a chair difficult. There was always plenty of parking and the unit was quiet. It had pretty much everything you need, but it was nothing fancy. Just a little tired. The check in process was easy, the hot tub was great and the small gym was quite adequate.

Great Location!

Considerable issue with bathtub draining!! Pulled out enough hair for a med sized rodent. Seemed to help but not fixed. May have drainage issues with development. Wanted to use gas fireplace being it was in the 30s and 40s at night. Was told it didn't work. But in description said gas fireplace. Also other shower never got hot only tepid after running for 5 minutes straight. Not hot enough! Made our situation a little uncomfortable with only ensuite shower. Unit was very clean and extremely quiet and close to everything!

Property manager thought the plumbing issue was taken care of, but unfortunately with next renter it was not. Plumber has replaced the valve and the tub works beautifully now. There is no gas and for insurance and liability reasons we do not allow the fire place to be used. This condo has a new HVAC system, it works great to heat or cool the condo. We apologize for the inconvenience, we strive to stay on top of things, but looks like we could of done better. We have visited with our property manager, who recently lost a son and then a daughter in law within months of each other. She is working hard to be back on track. We have set up better support for her.

Escaping the Snow

My husband and I have been visiting N. Scottsdale for the past 10 years during the week of the Barret-Jackson Car Show, so we are familiar with the area. We were very pleased with the condo: walking distance to Kierland Shopping areas and local restaurants, short drive to the car show and easy access to the highways. The condo and grounds are clean, luxurious and safe; we enjoyed the HEATED POOL!, hot tub, fitness center and numerous grills available. My sister and brother-in-law joined us and the condo provided privacy with separate bathrooms and plenty of space. We often enjoyed breakfast on the outside porch. The condo's furnishings were comfortable and easy on the eye, with personal touches that made it feel like home. I was appreciative of the spices, coffee and tea made available for us to use. Deb, the manager, was very patient and available when I "ditzed out" on how to work the coded lock. The only "negative' comment I have is the noise of the heating/AC unit when the blower is on; if that could be fixed I'd raise the stars to 6! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location, Nice place, but...

Upon check-in at all vacation rentals, we test the cleanliness of the tile floors by dampening a paper towel and wiping a few tiles to see if the towel turns black. This one failed, which was quite a disappointment since the ad specified cleanliness. The property manager did mop the floors immediately while we left for a time. Unfortunately, the mopping left sponge pieces all over and we had to vacuum all the floors before we moved in. Later we found the sink surrounds had not been well cleaned and did those ourselves. The location is GREAT as it is walking distance to Kierland shops and Scottsdale Quarter. However, it is also just 4 blocks to the Scottsdale airport and you will hear the aircraft taking off all day beginning around 630am. (One jet took off especially loudly at 2am one night... or maybe it just seemed extra loud at that hour. ) The TV's are good quality, and included a DVR, HBO and NBA Pass. Living room furniture is quite comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Towels and pillows in good shape. The layout with two king bedrooms, each with separate baths, is excellent for two couples or one couple that doesn't like to sleep together. :-) ( I snore) The mattress in the master bedroom (one with a TV) needs to be replaced. The springs squeak and it sags badly on one side (the East side). Overall this would be a lovely place to stay with a new mattress and improved cleanliness - as long as the airplane traffic doesn't bother you too much.

New furniture, but bathtub would not drain

The furniture in the bedrooms and living room looked new, but the bathtub would not drain, and the faucet dripped. Fortunately, we had a 2nd bathroom, and Debbie, the manager, tried to get a plumber out, but could not get anyone out till the 3rd day. And, the street light shone right into the bedroom and into our eyes, because the curtain was not wide enough for the window, and therefore could not be completely closed. The manager did sort the curtain issue out the next day by hanging a blanket over the window. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking, the new furniture looked nice, and the location is within walking distance of Tommy Bahamas. But we were stressed by the issue with the bathtub, since another couple was joining us on the 4th day. Kudos to Debbie for getting it fixed just in the nick of time.

We responded right away to renters calls. Calls to several plumbers and booked the plumber who could come the soonest. Communication to renters updating as the progress. The challenge was taken care of prior to the guest the renters were having come to visit. They were able to use the other bathroom to shower in the meantime. We have not had a problem with the front door light shining in, but will take a closer look at it. The drapes do fit the windows, we'll look into adding blinds to that window.

Good location - first floor - close to pool and front entrance. Debbie met us very late at night due to our plane change. She was very accommodating and pleasant even at the late hour of our arrival. Had an issue with our outside door lock and Debbie arrived in 15 minutes to replace the lock. Would definitely stay in this condo again.

This was our third time staying at this property. We come for baseball Spring Training and the condo is conveniently located in close proximity to all of the ballparks. There is also an abundance of restaurants and shopping nearby. The unit is perfect for two couples with mirror bedrooms and bathrooms. The business office is handy for printing out boarding passes for our return flight. The combination locking from door is a nice feature...no need to carry around keys. The only downside for us is that the fitness room is a little small and tends to be crowded first thing in the morning.

An excellent property near Kierland Commons!

Condo was excellent in every way! Very clean, lovely furnishings, beautiful property. The kitchen was stocked with many staples and all utensils/cookware great. Thanks also for little touches like pump soaps, thick beach towels, lots of TP, comfy throw pillows, even books to read by the pool. Owners are very pleasant to work with, and thanks to property manager Debbie for an easy check-in and attentive service! The pool area is beautiful. We were in a great area with easy walking distance to shops, cute bkfst spots, Westin Kierland, Scottsdale Quarter and more. Thanks for such a wonderful rental property!

Beautiful place!

Nice decor, nicely stocked kitchen with coffee spices etc. VERY nice complex, lots of interesting people. Great pool, jacuzzi and landscaping. Owners and managers are so nice! Only change I would make is to update the 1990 era cable box which has some glitches.

Everything was wonderful. Everything we needed was nearby. They grounds were well kept. The owners have excellent taste in decor. Our unit was very homey and comfortable. A great “home” to go to after a long day at the horse park. Everyone I worked with to secure our rental was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and would stay there again myself! It was perfect!

Clean and comfy excellent location near Kierland

The condo is slightly smaller than we usually rent but just about the right size for two couples. Owners were great to deal with. All amenities were provided and Debbie was consultative. The complex is much improved over our last stay here about 10 years ago - association is more attentive to maintenance of the property. Could use a few more dishes and plates, and need hooks on the bathroom doors, but overall an excellent condo.

Very relaxing

Love the location of this condo, across from Keirland and Scottsdale Quarter, great shopping and restaurants. Drive right up to the front door, street level makes it easy to load and unload your car. This condo is very well stocked, home away from home!! I love Scottsdale and all the activities, Phoenix Open, concerts, college and professional sports, golf, that all are surrounding this location and it's warmer than Montana in the Winter! Whether shopping in Kierland or Scottsdale Mall, it's fabulous! Allegiant Air has great non-stop flights to Mesa/Phoenix and very reasonable rates! It truly makes coming to Arizona a breeze!

What makes this property unique

Great location, you can walk to great restaurants, Starbucks, Tommy Bahamma's, Green House, and a short drive to Capital Grille, as well as the Mayo Clinic. So many golf courses to choose from. Hiking and biking made easy, or enjoy the wonderful pool area here. There are plenty of lounge chairs to just relax and enjoy the day!! Or if you want to work out before starting your day..it's all here!
