We highly recommend this apartment. It is in walking distance to old town, street and underground shopping and restaurants. The apartment is as described on VRBO and very nice. In addition to the this, Olga was an exceptional hostess. A perfect place to stay in Montreal.

The property is in the heart of downtown Montreal, close to major tourist attractions, and the metro/subway is just a few blocks away. The apartment could use some TLC — the bathrooms weren’t very clean, the washing machine door was broken, and the kitchen water pressure was very low. The parking spot is also quite small, so it won’t work for larger vehicles. On the plus side, the owner was super friendly and accommodating.

ABSOLUTELY BETTER THAN DESCRIBED; PERFECT LOCATION

This property is everything it is presented to be and MORE! Traveled with my husband, and we are not youngsters. Location: So very convenient for restaurants, shopping, grocery, Metro (we didn't venture on it, but it is very close.) Walking distance to Les Jardin, a gorgeous mall and food court, restaurants, also connected indoors to large, very well-stocked IGA grocery. We were there every day for something. Also, apartment is walking distance to main thoroughfare Rue Ste. Catherine, Basilica Notre Dame---Incredible House of God! Just a bit further is the World's Fair Olympic Park with the Biosphere and Old Port with its cobblestone streets and historic buildings. All must see destinations when staying in this neighborhood. Olga is just the most amazing host and ready to be of assistance in every way from pointing out interesting sites and recommending restaurants to shuttling to and from the airport. Makes arrival and departure absolutely stressless. Thank you, Olga. Would love to stay again, perhaps in warmer weather, although this city has its own charm and beauty no matter what the season. The apartment is immaculate, warm, comfortable and just lovely. Everything one would desire is either right here in the apartment or close by. Security is also a big comfort when visiting a new city and this apartment is very secure. We enjoyed the balcony even in this season. We loved it.

Not what we were hoping for

Two things were really good with this apartment: location (central - easy to walk virtually everywhere) and the property manager/owner (?), Olga, who is very nice and fairly responsive. However: - the apartment is really dirty; the kitchen looks like a small-town flee market; the kitchen drawers are full of crap and very little useful stuff; absolutely no 'love' went into preparing this apartment for guests. - The architect/engineer who designed the building, and the garage in particular, must have been working under the influence; the parking spot linked to the apartment is actually quite spacious, but the ramp to access it is absurdly narrow for anything larger than a moped (and, I am pretty sure, illegal) - I have never seen anything like this in my entire life (and I am old and learned to drive in Europe, where space is always an issue); also, for the entire duration of the weekend we spent there, back in February 2023, we did not have a remote control for the garage door that would actually work. - The place is extremely noisy. There is a club in the basement of the building next door and if you are here over a weekend, even in the winter, expect to be kept awake until 2-3am; Monday nights, on the other hand, are very quiet; I don't want to know what it must be in the summer!

Great location!

This property is very centrally located but it is next door to an outdoor bar which was super noisy until 3am! (This was on a Saturday) It was handy to have a washer & dryer in the unit as well.

very comfortable condo in a great location

pros: * very nice apartment, extremely well-equipped (kitchen well-stocked, full-size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, good wifi, etc) * very convenient location for the Old City and to use Bixi bikes to get around * Olga was pleasant and helpful cons: * the parking costs extra, has a different address from the apartment (only a problem for entry --- the elevator from the parking goes directly to the apartment) and is very tight (but it's great to be able to leave the car in a safe place and forget about it!) * the elevator was out of order for this 4th floor apartment for one day of our stay. We were okay, but it could be an accessibility issue for some visitors

Excellent condo in perfect location

Easy and enjoyable, only note is that I suggest not bringing a large SUV or van into the parking garage. It’s not built for oversized US vehicles.

Great Short Stay

Was only in Montreal one night for a wedding but found Olga's place perfect. Pictures are very accurate, it is well appointed and in a perfect location. Garage parking is a bit tricky if you have a SUV but it sure beat trying to hunt up a street spot. Olga was great to deal with, very accommodating and we would gladly stay here again.

Perplexed......

Cleanliness: I’m having difficulty reconciling what we observed during our September 8-10 stay with recent reviews of the property. The condo was very neat and uncluttered. While countertops and floors were clean, the same cannot be said for the windows/screens/blinds, tile in tub enclosures, baseboards (especially mid-condo bathroom), air vents, et. al. Overdue for general dusting and wipe-down. Advised Olga that the cleaning service she is using is not doing what needs to be done (pictures taken). Check-in: No check-yourself-in instructions were available on the VRBO app. Post check-in time, guests should be able to access the condo on their own schedule. Olga (very pleasant woman) was insistent about being present when we arrived. Accuracy of listing: It should be noted that the assigned parking space in the garage is actually an alcove (cement wall front and one side, cement pillar in back) into which one must parallel park (unless the vehicle is of the mini variety). Tight for a mid-sized SUV. Guests with larger vehicles, or less than pro parallel parking skills, might want to consider a nearby public garage. The balcony is not like those shown in the picture of the building. It’s in the rear of the building, first floor, and overlooks an alley with parked vehicles and another garage. Communication with property manager: Generally slow to respond. Still waiting (16 days post-departure) for refund of security deposit. VRBO contacted for assistance. Location / neighborhood: Excellent, as others have attested. Quiet. There’s opportunity for significant improvement – this could be a 5 star accommodation. All in all, we did enjoy our time in Montreal very much.

Great condo

The property owner was a pleasure to deal with. Check in took just a few minutes as we waited for her to arrive to meet us. Her tour of the property and recommendations to see the sights in Montreal were helpful. The condo was just like the photos. It was clean, quiet, and safe. It’s in a great area to visit everything and we walked most places. Parking a larger suv was a challenge but was done safely in the building garage. We parked it and never moved it until we were leaving. There is also an elevator from the garage so if someone had difficulty walking, they could use it. It certainly helped with our luggage. My Dad has gone to Montreal many times for business and stayed all over the city in years past. He said this condo couldn’t be beat. Thank you Olga for a wonderful time!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in a very good location in Montreal. The condo is clean and spacious. Walkable to many of the sights in the city. We did have some communication issues with slow responses to questions on check in. Other than that, we enjoyed our trip very much.

Great Location and Accessibility

Travelling with someone who has mobility issues is challenging. This apartment was accessible as advertised which allowed one of our party to enjoy her stay and even to do some exploring of the neighbourhood. Olga was very prompt at responding to any inquiries and we are happy to recommend this apartment for a great place to stay in Montreal.

Comfortable Condo

After dealing with numerous traffic detours, we finally arrived at the basement parking space which was a tight fit for our midsized car. The accommodations were suitable for the four of us, but we did have to search for face cloths. We would have appreciated written instructions for entrance/exit procedures . Olga was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We would recommend this rental to others.

Great place

This was a very nice place and the location was excellent. It was close to many restaurants and the old town was within walking distance. The apartment was very well kept and large enough for the five of us. Olga was very helpful and recommended several good places to eat. Would recommend this place without reservation
