Beautiful property, exactly as described. Peaceful location, very close to town center. Friendly, responsive hosts. We loved our stay, would definitely return.
A wonderful stay in a beautiful house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for thanksgiving! Nice location with a park just down the road.
We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped—perfect for cooking, and we ended up preparing several meals during our visit. We also really appreciated the quick and helpful response to a request we had. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!
My friends and I enjoyed our stay in Brattleboro. The house was close to downtown and easy to get to. It was clean and as listed, with enough beds for 5 of us. The owner also responded quickly and check-in was easy. We’ll be back next year.
We had a great stay at this property. We were a family of 5, with our teen/young adult kids. It’s in a good location for downtown Brattleboro and further afield. We enjoyed a little walk on the nearby Whetstone park too. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well equipped. We appreciated the hosts’ generosity with towels and toiletries and a well stocked kitchen.
The house is in a great location, has a nice yard, good parking. The outdoor seating was fantastic & plenty of room indoors for all 12 of us (not all stayed the night). I’ll definitely reserve there again.

Thank you Sarah, you were a great guest and it was lovely to have you!
What can I say? Beautiful historic house. Very doable without a car as well. I walked around the town, took Amtrak both ways. Massive kitchen. Lots of beds for big family trips. Everything was wonderful, except for the election results

Haha! Hopefully you won't forever associate Vermont with political disappointment! We are glad you had a nice time and we enjoyed having you!
The property was welcoming in appearance and more work was in progress to the gardens. Plenty of guest parking. Nice area for walking and seeing the river. The house was clean, airy, open plan and very inviting. AC extremely welcome on the ground floor, oscillating fans adequate on the second floor. Kitchen well-stocked with dishes and pans, with plenty of worktop space and every appliance you could need - and all of them working! Plenty of bed linens and towels in the bedrooms as well as in the two bathrooms. Quiet location for sleeping at night and lots of bird-song to wake up to in the early summer. Close to the main street through the centre of Brattleboro for accessing its shops. Well situated for roads to anywhere - local areas and beyond, or Interstate for more distant ones. Close to one of the bridges over the river to NH. .
