This 1770's cape-style farmhouse has been transformed into to a 4500-square foot designer home, with exposed beams, an open plan living approach and a unique character. Walk through the door into a large open plan kitchen/living space with a chef's kitchen including a Viking 5 burner range and every professional cook's equipment list in the cupboards.

Step back in time as you move into the original 1770 restored dining room with its huge hearth and bread ovens. Going through the next door you are in spacious Living Room an 1840 room where restoration was not the goal. It's spacious doors and windows bring the outside into you as you relax on the large L shaped couch. It is one of the most magical rooms in the house.
Through a large double glass door to the east you have a huge view of the Connecticut River Valley. Large glass windows and doors to the east look out to the trunk of the 200 year old maple which shades the house.
From here step out onto the Double Decker Decadent Deck with couches and a table where you can have cocktails and meals as you enjoy the views and vistas.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one en suite. Upstairs there are four additional bedrooms and another bathroom including the Vista Room, the master bedroom with 180 degree views of the valley and Vermont. There is an additional full bath with shower downstairs.
