Our 3 grown children and there spouses were with us, their parents, for our annual get together. We had a great time. It was so peaceful and restful. We played games and had lots of fun just sitting around talking.Sharon was a great hostess, she met every need.
Beautiful, clean, older home, well maintained, the game room was a big hit, washer and dryer wasn’t accessible to us, and owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

The laundry room was available for you to use. The door was closed but it wasn’t locked it was the door in the game room beside the double doors going outside. There was a door locked downstairs but it was a closet with my seasonal decorations
in it. I wish you had ask me about the laundry room! I enjoy meet you, your husband of 52 years & your sisters . I would love to have you back anytime!
Everything exceeding our expectations. Such a beautiful view and not too far from Chatt. The house was very comfortable and entertaining. Thanks for the stay.
My family came together for the holiday weekend and plenty of room for all 8 of us!
The dock was great, the gas grill was brand new, the amenities were above and beyond any other stay with VRBO!
Beautiful setting on the water. Older home, with a lot of charm. Hummingbirds were everywhere. We refilled the feeders and were greeted with a bevy of beautifully colored hummingbirds. We had a great time relaxing by the water.
This home is very spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms have great mattresses. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are plenty of games for anyone to enjoy. The view is very nice, especially from the porch and decks. You really can't get much better than this home. We appreciate Sharon sharing her home and all of the contents which are amazing.
We loved the view of the lake and plenty of space for all 8 of us. Kids loved the pool table and air hockey. Beds were comfortable. I love sitting on the porch and watch the kids fish. If we are in the area again, we will stay here.
We love this property, house and location! Our host, Sharon, is amazing with communication! We didn’t have any issues while we were there. The house is immaculate. Very clean and has everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend!!
This place is massive!!! Numerous living areas with multiple places for everyone to find their own niche. Decorated and supplied nicely. The homeowner was readily available to any questions or needs.
For a Christmas stay was awesome as every room had decorations. For people that like games game room was perfect with assortment ie air hockey, bowling machine, pool table and assorted board games. Assorted tv screens and sitting areas throughout home as well as assortrd outdoor sitting areas. Could tell would be jist as awsome in summer with wonderful dock on the water.
The pictures do not give this place the justice it deserves. Granted, it is an older home and it has some quirks, but everything operated great, it was clean and beautiful and peaceful. If you are looking for the convenience of city hustle, dancing, concerts or clubs, this is not the house if you are looking for. But if you are looking for a safe and quiet place to enjoy the sounds of nature, watch the sunrise over the water, make memories with your loved ones, unplug from the world and spend quality time with your family or friends then THIS IS the place! We stayed almost every moment on the back porch or the dock, soaking up nature and the peace. It was magical and restful. Even though there are TV's in the house, none of them were ever turned on. We played pool, air hockey, and yard games. We talked and laughed and unwound from our busy, demanding lives. We drove 45 minutes to spend one day in Chattanooga, and be tourists, but the house was the true vacation. Everything we could have ever needed was there. I highly recommend this place. You will make memories of a lifetime.
The property was perfect. We were 7 adults. 3 couples/ 1 single! Plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped except for large pot for spaghetti or corn. Grill was gas. The view was amazing. My brother in law is a birder! He saw over 20 species! The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely home but DIRTY
The home itself is lovely; however, the home was unclean. The cabinets, toiletries, showers, and exterior (patio and entrances) were dirty. It is obvious that the home is in disrepair. The lower level of the home has water damage. The floors were wet, had mold, and smelled awful. We chose to relocate our kids to the couches upstairs. Yellow jacket nests limited us from going outside on the lower patio so we stayed upstairs. We did not get what we paid for.

I’m so sorry you was disappointed in the property. After you left I went downstairs to the closet that has the heat pump unit in it . I found that the pump that pumps the water outside had quit working. It has been replaced & the wooden floor has been removed. I have been all outside of the property & haven’t found a yellow jacket nest ! Again I’m sorry you was disappointed!
We loved staying here and hardly left the house. The access to the creek with the paddle boards and kayaks was awesome. I think I'm going to have to buy a kayak now. The game room inside the house was so much fun, too. How about unlimited billiards, Skee ball, air hockey, and even indoor hatchet throwing. The house has a ton of space, but it never felt oversized. There were a couple things that could have been better, but it is hard to knock the property too much for this. One, the cleaning crew missed some stuff. There was some debris left in the game room shower (it is a shower intended to rinse off after being in the creek), and I found a pair of socks in the floor of my room. Two, the water took a bit to get used to how to use. Basically, you needed to turn the hot water all the way on, let it get hot, then barely turn on the cold. Once I figured that out it was all good. The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much any cooking dishes, etc. you might need if you want to do much cooking. We only cooked breakfast, but we had no issues cooking a large breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I might just do that again myself the next time I visit the area.
This was a great place! It’s a little unassuming from the road, but once you get in the house, it’s awesome! So comfortable and so much thought about the guest experience. Coffee in the screened in porch was a most excellent start to the day. The dock had an umbrella and chairs that were perfect for fishing. Beds were comfy, lots of cooking supplies. Host was super helpful and kind.
