Celebrating our 37th trip around the sun together. Lake views and sunsets from the deck were outstanding, we would’ve stayed here for those alone. Pretty, comfortable and welcoming home to visit.
We stayed at this home for the Bass Nation High School National Championship fishing tournament. We stayed for a week. The house had all that we needed and was a great place to rest up for each day's events. Access to the lake was a plus. As other reviews stated, be prepared for a beautiful sunset. The owner/property manager was extremely easy to deal with.
We loved our time in this Cabin and are ready to return! The views were beautiful! Zach was very helpful and accommodating! The location was perfect, the lake was beautiful! We will definitely be back!
We loved this property and enjoyed our time there. The hosts response to any of my questions was almost immediate. He gave us great information. The place was well stocked and was very nice. The views were breathtaking. We saw deer every morning and some Eagles daily. We are casual fishers and were able to catch fish every day. I would definitely book this again.
Great location on the water and totally as appears in pictures & description. Communication was GREAT and would stay at this location again. Great host and wonderful wildlife daily. Everything we needed to BBQ and relax our evenings away on the balcony. Wonderful place to be disconnected and relax.
For knowledge more than complaint:
If you want to be a digital nomad - can't do it here. We were vacationing, so watching TV or working on laptops was not on our agenda. However, if it had been, would have been difficult as the internet speed was too slow for many activities.
Note that there is no laundry capability. Is clearly not listed in the amenities, but I missed it and was disappointed I didn't realize.
Lastly, no screens on the windows meant no potential for opening to get fresh air unless we wanted the potential of the bugs inside the house. The weather wasn't too hot or muggy for us and would have preferred the fresh air throughout the house. Was however able to open the door to the balcony (with a screen door) and make do (so not an impossibility).
Lovely lake view cabin. Perfect for a quiet getaway (or fun on the lake if you prefer). Easy check in/out. Master bed and pillows were especially comfortable! Owner answered message promptly and was very helpful! DG very close but also within 15 min of many major restaurants/stores.
Great little cabin. (Pros: Took our boat so ramp on property and dock were great. Lots of comfy pillows. Deer daily in the yard. Plenty of pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. And best of all so peaceful and quiet. At least when we went we hardly saw or heard other people.) (Cons: Walk down to dock is very steep. Bed wasnt the most comfortable. Grill was rusty.) Overall we had a great time!
We had an absolutely amazing time getting away from the city at this home. The house was exactly as described, and it was extremely easy to contact the host for any and all questions.
The place was very clean. Zach communicated with us immediately. Beautiful area for our family to gather. Quiet area.Would be nice to have 1 more restroom. It was divine providence when we turned off hwy. 60 the road was my families name couldn't believe it. We will definitely be coming back.
This is our second year staying here and hopefully many to come. The windows all across the back of the house overlooking the water is spectacular. The cabin was clean and offers everything needed to enjoy your stay. We also enjoyed the daily naborhood dear visits.Overall a wonderful place to stay and safe naborhood.
The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great.
