Our time in Cooper landing was incredible and this cabin had everything we needed. The location and views were perfect. We would definitely stay here again when we come back.
This was a fabulous place to stay for our four member group! You couldn’t ask for a better view, which is what we wanted for this portion of our trip. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and host was very communicative.
Beautiful place on the Kenai River. The home had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. It was a great location for exploring places nearby. The host was very helpful & accommodating. We definitely recommend this property.
Everything was great. The views of the river are so serene and scenic. We fished from the bank of the river and also watched the drift boat fisherman float by. No motors allowed on the river. The area was very quiet and I enjoyed simply relaxing and enjoying the scenery (with a beer, of course). Beds were fine, kitchen beautiful, gas fireplace worked perfectly. TV was small, but we're not there to watch TV. Highly recommend.
The pictures, especially of the proximitybeauty of the river, don’t do it justice. It had everything we needed and comfy beds too! What a beautiful, relaxing place to stay.
Property exceeded all expectations. Wouldn't stay anywhere else on the River...except maybe the property next door (same owners).

Beautiful and well maintained property with gorgeous views from the porch of the Kenai river and surrounding mountains. Was the perfect central spot for exploring the Kenai Peninsula on our Alaskan vacation.
Perfect location for fishing, spacious living area, perfect for our family get together. The owners were extremely communicative and helpful, which we greatly appreciated traveling with a young baby. If we need a place to stay out here again, we know where to go!
The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. The communication with the owners was outstanding. I have stayed at many rentals in Cooper Landing and this is by far my favorite.

Beautiful yard for the kids to play. The river and mountains look exactly like the pictures!
We loved this property with the stunning view of the Kenai River and we wish we would have booked a longer stay! The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! The hosts were very responsive and accomodating! We would definitely stay here again!
Traveled to this area five times, and I must say this has been our favorite property! We only stayed three nights, but wish we had booked much longer. So comfortable and the view is absolutely gorgeous.
Spent a week in this amazing location on the Kenai River. Beautiful clean property with incredible views of the river and lots of wildlife. Used this as base camp for our Kenai adventures and would definitely return.

About the host

There are few things I enjoy more than floating down the Upper Kenai. I was lucky enough to spend the month of September fishing in Cooper Landing for about a decade before owning this property. For any guests that have not experienced the fall in Cooper Landing, I strongly recommend it.
Why they chose this property
There are many houses available for rent in Cooper Landing, but few have the river front privacy and fishing as the Bear Den. Sitting by a warm fire down by the river after a great day of exploring Alaska is one of our favorite features of the property. If the world class rainbow fishing was not enough, the upper river is one of the most beautiful places I have come across. The house sits across from the drift only marker on the Upper Kenai (No motors allowed). Just upstream from the property, the river begins to narrow and pick up current.
What makes this property unique
Rainbows and Dollies can be caught easily for most of the summer and fall. In late September and October the second run of Silver Salmon start to stack up behind the house. In March and April the property is home to a concentration of bald eagles that are feasting on spawning silver salmon creating some fantastic photo opportunities.
