This yurt was amazing! The environment is very serene and the amenities are impeccable. Co-host Denise is kind and communicative and helped us feel very at home. Highly recommend this quiet, well-maintained espape.

Absolutely wonderful for getting away from everyday hustle and bustle. Very peaceful…the yurt is literally in the middle of the woods. Wonderful waking up to the sound of birds.

Just like the listing promised. The green yurt is practically an efficiency hotel room.Beautiful and serene location. While the yurt is under tree cover, steps away is manicured field to sit in the sun or stargaze or walk the labyrinth. You only need to bring your clothes and food. The hosts provided toiletries, linens, coffee/tea and extras like fire making supplies for the fire pit. Even a wagon to haul your belongings down the path from your parking space. And they were just a text request away if we needed anything else.

Our stay here was incredible. The yurt is so peaceful and also very accommodating. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to feel like we’re in the beautiful woods without feeling like we were “roughing it.” We will definitely be returning if we are lucky enough in the future. Also, don’t discount this place if you’re looking for some where to stay when your son is playing baseball at Cooperstown. It was not too far from the ball park at all and offered much needed seclusion from the craziness of the Cooperstown area.

Relaxing Stay

We loved staying in the yurt! We came to this area for our son's baseball tournament, & it was so peaceful & relaxing to go back to the yurt each evening. The hosts have thought of everything...there are plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc, plus all the extras you wouldn't think of, like citronella candles (for any bugs while enjoying the outdoors), flameless candles, olive oil, parchment paper,.....SO MANY EXTRAS! We highly recommend staying here, & we hope to come back in the future. Thank you Dale, Jana, & Denise!

Beautiful, bucolic setting. We loved the yurt and the surrounding woods were lovely. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Yurt was very clean and beautifully appointed. Host very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend.
