Welcome to The Heron’s Nest! Just steps to the beach and pool, this 1 bedroom condo is perched on the top floor of the B building with an elevator and features a queen bed, sleeper sofa, 2 bunk beds, full bath and kitchen including breakfast bar. Breathe in the ocean air from your own personal balcony. Situated on the tranquil north end of the island yet still walking distance to many of tybee’s most popular shops, restaurants & pubs! Serenity awaits!
The space
Settle in and unwind while taking in the view of dolphins and boats passing by from the comfort of your own personal balcony. Perfectly situated on the quiet, peaceful north end of the island while also and just 150 steps to the beach! No kidding! We’re also conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants/pubs, coffee shops, bike & kayak rentals.

The condo is situated in the best of both worlds. It is beachfront on the Northend of Tybee (less crowded beaches); yet only 1 mile from “down front” aka the south end of the island and Tybrisa Street. Around the corner you’ll find a beach front pool, kiddie pool and plenty of lounge seating. Next to the pool is the boardwalk to the beach. Also, the grounds include tennis courts, playground, picnic tables and grills.

The condo is completely furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge, microwave, four-burner stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, and all essential cooking ware (pots, pans, etc. ) Also, it includes all dish and flat ware (utensils, plates, glasses). Don’t worry about bringing the bulky beach gear that crowds up your trunk - we have a wagon, chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach toys and towels waiting for you here!

The unit is on the 3rd floor. We have an elevator, however, the building is up on stilts about 6 feet, so there are some steps to get up the elevator. There is a ramp on the front west side of the building in case you need that instead of taking the steps to the elevator.

The main bedroom has queen size bed and has a very comfortable mattress. It has a large closet with plenty of room for your luggage and clothes.

The bunk beds are such a fun experience for kids. It includes a ladder and a safety bar to prevent falls. The doorway in the hall and direct bathroom access from the master allow parents to put the little ones to bed and be able to access the rest of the condo without disturbing the little ones!

The living room has a comfortable sofa, with a 50 inch flat screen HD-TV that includes full cable and Roku TV for streaming.

The laundry facilities are at the end of the complex breezeway, the room to the right. The washers & dryers are coin operated and it costs approximately $3.50 to wash & dry a load. They don't have a coin machine, so if you plan to do laundry be sure to bring plenty of quarters.

The lighthouse and Jaycee Park are just a 10-minute walk away. The park has scenic streams with turtles, basketball court, softball field, playground, disc golf course, picnic tables and grills. Beautiful live oak trees and a peaceful walking/bike path.

5-15 min walking distance to our favorite pubs/restaurants: Huca-poos, Sundae Cafe, North Beach Grill, Quarter Bar & Grill, Chamacos, Zunzibar, Tybean Coffee, and if you desire dessert/breakfast, check out the Breakfast Club!

Occupancy designed for 2 adults max and 2 children only as the hallway bed is child-size.

Parking in the complex is limited to one spot per unit. If you have more than one car, please reach out for ideas on where to park extra vehicles.
