What a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy time away with our family as we came together from three states! Even in the rain and chilly, we had plenty to do; TV, games, and the hot tub was definitely a hit during that time. The indoor hot tub room was perfect especially when it was raining. The doors that opened to the outside and the screens pulled together to keep bugs out were so nice. We enjoyed the pool immensely when the sun came out. So relaxing! The fenced yard was perfect for the fur babies and we saw deer several times! The kitchen was great and we had everything we needed! (The welcome basket was a very nice greeting gesture!) The owners were very quick to respond to needs, they went above and beyond providing extras of things such as trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry pods and softener, dishwasher pods, floaters already blown up for pool and even extra sunscreen! The garage was perfect (and exceptionally clean) to unload our vehicles since it was raining when we arrived. I highly recommend this property!

Spacious Mountain House

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Sweet Retreat. While it was cold and snowy outside we were able to relax in a spacious home and also partake of the hot tub. Large fenced backyard was great for the pup while in the summer it would combine great with the pool and outdoor amenities!

Wonderful stay!

My group and I had a wonderful time staying at this place! There were eight adults for a fishing trip and it was perfect. The property is exactly as it was advertised: very clean, beds were comfy, fully stocked kitchen, sheets and towels were provided. A few extras we weren’t expecting: a lot of games, coffee and snacks. Highly recommend!

Family Reunion

Eight siblings and one teen gathered for a week to fun, relaxation and reliving old memories from childhood. We laughed at ourselves and others!On July 5 neighbors provided us with at least an hour of beautiful fireworks that we watched from the patio. We couldn’t believe what a perfect view we had. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-stocked - the complete package!

This home was amazing. It is enormous, clean, comfortable, and very well-stocked. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a feast, as well as everything you need to clean up afterwards including dishwasher tablets and dish soap. I really appreciated the labels on the kitchen cabinets, too, as that kept us from having to hunt for everything we needed. The appliances in the house were all fairly new looking, and everything worked great. The bedrooms are huge, and there are extra blankets in the closets. The hosts even provide beach towels for use with the pool and spa! The pool is very large and was sparkling clean when we arrived. There were several floats available to use in the pool as well. The backyard is beautiful and there is a great view of the surrounding mountains from back there. My family had a great time swimming, playing cornhole, sitting around the firepit (there was wood provided so we could make a fire!), and sitting in the hot tub. If we would have had more time, I'm sure we would have made use of the provided board games and/or jigsaw puzzles as well. We would definitely book this place again in the future!
