WELCOME TO CONCH COTTAGE!


In the 20th century many residents of Key West began referring to themselves as “Conchs”, now this term generally applied to all residents of Key West. This vacation home is called Conch Cottage because it encompasses the heart of the Key West life style.

In the heart of Old Town with traditional architecture, this home serves as a perfect luxury and vacation. This home is exactly what you would imagine! From the ginger bread features to the porch seating area and colorful paint, this is a perfect place to people watch and relax at any hour of the day. Conch Cottage is a one bedroom, one bath home with a full kitchen and back deck. This rental is ideal for a couple or single guest.


Conch Cottage is fully furnished and features a completely renovated, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a BOSCH stackable washer and dryer. The living and dining areas are open concept. There is a flat screen, cable TV and couch. The open space allows full view of the French doors leading to your private rear deck.

The bedroom has a queen bed and a door to the private back deck. You can close the curtains for privacy or let the sunshine come through.

The rear deck has all the amenities you could need. The space has a lounging area, an outdoor seating area with an umbrella, hot tub, and a grill. This can serve as an outdoor dining area. This deck is the ultimate place to relax, entertain, grill and live like a local! Another bonus is the private, outdoor shower. You can slip away, allowing the tropical breeze in with no worries, there is complete privacy.

If you want to take a swim, Key West has a community center with a huge community swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a park next door to the pool, you may also want to take a bike ride in the Truman Annex, or ride to the tree-lined beaches of historic Ft. Zachary Taylor.

Great location - close to everything but away from the noise of Duvall street. Private outdoor space is a great way to enjoy a quiet morning, recharge before dinner, or relax before bed. Easy check-in and no long list of chores for check-out. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Cottage in a Perfect Location

The Conch Cottage was not only adorable but very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants/bars, drug store, grocery store, and Simonton Street Beach, which we walked to daily. Would definitely recommend Conch Cottage!

The house was great and the patio beautiful but hard to enjoy because of the Pot smell! Also the mattress on the bed was way too soft.Other than those two things we loved the location and walked almost everywhere!

Due to the efforts of Angela @ Preferred Properties, I am able to file a travel insurance claim. Without her help my trip would have been a total loss. I cannot rate the property itself as we didn't actually stay there. However, we chose this property because of the amenities offered and it was dog friendly. Preferred Properties kept in constant communication with us prior to our vacation to make sure everything would go smoothly. This review requires a rating of the property so only based on the customer service I received, I'm going to give it 5 stars. We will try to book the same trip again in the future and Preferred Properties will be my choice!

Awesome stay, awesome experience

The property is wonderful, and we loved everything about the clean, comfortable cottage. The location was great. The private back patio with the hot tub and outdoor shower was amazing. We’ve never worked with Preferred Properties before, but they were awesome and we highly recommend them!!

The back deck was an awesome. Had a very clean HotTub that we enjoyed every night. Everything In old town is built on top of each other. But with the tall privacy fence and the foliage of the trees, it was pretty secluded. I used the private shower outside everyday. Loved it! Best part is it’s 1 block from Duvall St. and in the middle of the Old Town. The management awesome because after we checked in they were there if we needed them but we were happy and had not one problem.

Conch Cottage for the WIN!

First trip to Key West for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. Conch Cottage was the perfect spot to call home on our stay. Centrally located on the island and just a block from Duval Street. We will be back for sure.

Perfect little place to Relax

The place was convenient, perfect, cozy, very clean and easy to get into and out of. Great location, two blocks off of Duval Street, five blocks either end of the road Just great location to get around and see everything. It's. quiet setting, nice little backyard with a hot tub. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Perfect place for a couple or small family

We loved the Conch Cottage! Beautifully designed inside and out! The perfect use of the small space made it more than adequate. Close enough to walk or ride bikes to just about anywhere, But far enough off Duval to sleep soundly at night.

Key West Great Stay

Loved the property. Minutes from everything Key West. If we had any negative it would be no out front parking. But we had no trouble acquiring parking outside the reserved spots, it just required a block or two of walking. Great place though!
