Sunsets take center stage at this rustic Lake Champlain west view island cottage. Large private beach offers wonderful access to the lake's clean, clear water. Great for windsurfing, sailing, snorkling and all kinds of family fun!
2 acres of green surround this quiet cottage with plenty of space to run and play.
Enjoy a respite by the beach, under the shade trees or on the giant front porch. There's a spot for everyone.
3 bedrooms (2 queen, 2 twin), full kitchen, dining room & living room. One full bathroom. The interior is the same as when it was built in 1970, with an updated kitchen, new floors and furnishings.

We had a wonderful stay last week. The cabin was great, we appreciated some of the updates like new flooring, etc. The lake was clean, we swam every day. It was very relaxing, may try to do it again next year.

Absolutely beautiful area

Stayed there with my 2 dogs and my 2 youngest daughters it is a beautiful area, wonderful beach that you have to yourself. The sky view at night for the stars was great. Loved the big porch outside and the house is cute and spacious. But definitely bring your bug spray!!!

It is a beautiful property and a great place to create memories. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. It does feel like it could use a deep cleaning, but the beds were very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The views from the porch are magical. We would definitely stay again.

Summer escape

Our family has been coming to the Lake House the last 3 summers and we are already booked for next summer. We are absolutely in love with this property. The yard and lake view are stunning. The house is just perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Thank you for another amazing week on the lake.

Classic Cabin on the Lake

We adored our stay at the cabin and already cannot wait to go back! As soon as we walked in the house and noted pieces of décor that reminded us of our grandparents, we knew we picked the perfect classic camp! Its just the right amount of rustic to make it feel like a special getaway! The porch was a dream to spend our days and evenings, the yard perfect for play and the water was clean and easily accessible for all ages! We truly created some special memories here this summer and thank you kindly! We'll be back :)

Million dollar views in a rustic cottage

Our recent stay at this vacation rental was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was absolutely fantastic. The views were breathtaking, and being so close to the beach made our days incredibly enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to easily prepare meals, which was a nice bonus. However, the cleanliness of the rental left much to be desired. The place had a very musty odor that was hard to ignore. It made the air feel heavy and left us stuffed up and sneezing constantly which unfortunately impacted our sleep. We found ourselves needing to keep all the windows open just to make the space bearable. Needs to be vacuumed and dusted, all fans are thick with dust (we cleaned some), mold in shower and some bedroom walls. All closets are completely full so you cannot use them and the blankets did not appear to have been recently washed. In summary, while the location and amenities were great, the lack of cleanliness and the unpleasant odor significantly detracted from our overall experience. If these issues were addressed, this rental would be a perfect beach getaway.

Peaceful Lakefront

The property sits on a beautiful lakefront setting. Lots of space for outdoor activities. Included BBQ, chairs by the beach, hammock, towels and quilts for the beds. Kitchen is well stocked. Furniture is a bit outdated but clean. A bit of a dusty smell that may be from not being used regularly. I still recommend it. Great getaway for fishing trip or kayaking and biking around the islands.

Best sunsets on the lake

The best part of the property is the back porch overlooking the lake and the sunsets. We stayed there on a fishing trip and there was plenty of room to park two bass boats and vehicles. We will definitely stay here again

We stayed here as a family of five with our dog. The hosts were excellent about communication throughout our stay. The house is rustic as advertised. Great porch facing the beach. The beach is exceptionally lovely for the lake islands -- shallow, clear water with a sandy bottom for more than 50 feet out from the shore. Perfect for kids who love to splash around! Sunsets were out of this world. Location is perfect, right in the middle of all the fun island spots and very close to Hero's Welcome.

Dirty kitchen, nice location, large covered porch

The kitchen had not been cleaned, there was food stuff spilled in the fridge and freezer and the coffee pot had coffee residue and used grounds in it. We washed absolutely everything the kitchen before we used it. The deck and lake were awesome!
