Welcome to the “Nelson House” your low country, townhome, escape in a quaint neighborhood within walking distance of Port Royal’s restaurants, shopping, and festivals and within 5 minutes of The Sand’s beach, boardwalk, and boat ramp. The home is also within 10 minutes of Historic downtown Beaufort and Parris Island and thirty minutes to Hunting Island State Park beach!
The Nelson House is located within steps to the Cypress Wetlands walking trail, where you can enjoy a boardwalk stroll and abundant wildlife viewing!
When you are not out exploring, relax on the front porch and enjoy a glass of sweet tea or grill in your private backyard. The home has an open and bright floor plan with oversized bedrooms and cozy gas logs.
We purchased the Nelson House in 2024 and it boasted 65, 5-star reviews with its previous owner! Come enjoy the Nelson House and the best the low country has to offer!

The house was so cozy and stocked with anything you would need for your stay. The close proximity to the small town was a huge bonus for my family. We enjoyed being able to walk to lunch and breakfast. Being ablento walk the trails of the wetlands practically in the backyard was out favorite part.

Everything!! Location was perfect, a short 10 minute drive to Parris Island and walking distance to local restaurants and shops! Being from Louisiana where alligators are common to us, we enjoyed watching others, watch the alligators behind the property! Could not have found any other location to accommodate us any better. Amazing communication from our host and a great location for our visit to watch our son graduate boot camp. Only 5 minutes away from the checkpoint on Parris Island and had everything that would could possibly need already stocked! Beautiful, cozy home in a nice neighborhood with trails and a very nice park within walking distance for the kids to get the zoomies out! Overall great experience. If you’re looking to find a place close to the Marine Corps Depot, or just visiting the area, highly recommended!
