Beautiful place, truly rustic hand-hewn log cabin with modern conveniences tastefully done to preserve the original character of the cabin. The view into the valley is amazing! My family really enjoyed the stay.

Great cabin with great view

Very nice cabin on top of the Johnson Bluff, with the views of the Dayton area and Chickamauga lake. Will definitely like to come back for another stay.

Beautiful location! Cabin is authentically old school construction with some modern retrofitting to add comfort. Very unique and enjoyable stay.

True 100 year old log cabin, maintained in great condition, with the luxuries we all like to have. Cabin very clean, good beds and plenty of hot water.Beautiful sun rises, very quiet and peaceful. I'll be back..

Granddaddy's Cabin is 100 years old and still has the original flooring, walls, and windows! The cabin gives you all of the rustic, country vibes that you look for in the mountains! Situated at the top of the bluff on Dayton mountain, the views and peacefulness of the property is the best part and something that is unmatched.
