Very nice setting with park and waterway just across the street. Convenient walk to a very nice coffee shop/eatery. Accommodations were neat and clean. Host was very responsive to our requests. We would book this location again.

Thank you for staying with us and your kind review.
Stayed here for three nights ending 9/1/26 with total of four adults- two couples. First time in Anchorage, so found out the location for this home was even better than I realized google-mapping around. Super comfortable, less expensive and nicer than a hotel. Walkable for everything we wanted to do. Host Nancy was very clear and prompt with communication. Beds were very comfortable- generous living room and kitchen made for nice before bed and morning coffee conversation space. Would 100% stay here again and I recommend highly.

Thank you Caroline for your kind review. We are so happy you had a great stay and you liked our location. We would love to host you again if you are ever back in our beautiful state.
Great spot with a view of the bay. Great for kids because there is a playground literally across the street! Will definitely be using them again when we come back through Anchorage.

It was a pleasure hosting you, we look forward too hosting you again.
The property is in a wonderful location Able to walk to most places we hoped to visit. We were able to see Denali the second night just up the road near sunset. Beds were very comfortable and good shower. Though we didn’t really cook the kitchen is well laid out with plenty of supplies. Our host was very quick to respond to questions and immediately helped us out with an Internet outage that was quickly rectified. We would definitely stay here again! Great Anchorage Stay!!

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The property is advertised as the entire house. It is not. We learned after booking that we were in the downstairs unit. We were asked to remove our shoes before entering but upon seeing the state of the carpet, we were hesitant about that request as there is no available seating to remove your shoes. The unit had a slight old moisture smell that is common in older homes but the unit was reasonably clean excluding the carpet. The location was amazing allowing us to explore a part of Anchorhage that we had never had the chance. Numerous dining options are available in the area to walk to and renting bicycles for the Tony Knowles Trail is a must. The upstairs unit might be a bit nicer but we could not see it so there is no way to tell.

I am sorry if you did not read the description of this unit. Below is exactly how the first paragraph reads..

I will be talking to our cleaners to make sure the unit smells better, we appreciate your feed back.
We also love the location and all the fun activities and dining so close by.
We hope we will be able to host you again.
Excellent location and accomodations. My only sidenote is that if there are people upstairs walking loudly, you'll hear it. People who came in after the first upstairs folks walked normally and it wasn't noticeable.
This is great location and we were so impressed with all the amenities quality of the furnishing and the many little extras. Extremely clean, great parking with easy access. Would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend to our family and friends. Thank you for making us so comfortable on our short 2 day stay.
