Peter was very friendly and met us at the property to show us around and answer questions. It could have used some cleaning, vacuuming, dusting. Nice porch and working fireplace.

Thank you for your review. We will have our cleaning staff spend more time there in the future and do a more thorough inspection prior to guest arrival. We love this cottage and enjoy sharing it with guests. This was our last rental for the season and we intend to make more improvements for next year.

One fry pan, two working burners, pond fed water, no Internet, very musty, one fan, no bath towels, felt like I went to fishing camp. Over sixty stairs from driveway to the pond, cobwebs and spiders, not secluded.. neighbors on one side within 20 ft and other about 40. Very misrepresented..... No I wouldn't refer anyone to rent this camp..

We obviously should not have rented to this couple with their teenage grandchildren. We spent many hours cleaning and preparing for their arrival, and they were happy with everything prior to our departure. There was a small water leak at the hot water heater the next day which which we responded to immediately and fixed. The camp is built on a hillside and there are new stairs with 15 steps leading to the cabin. Then there are 10 stairs leading to the middle deck, and then 10 more stairs to the pond level. All stairs have rails and are easy to traverse. The pond is warm, clear, and spring fed and the source for the cabin water. While it has been tested safe for consumption. We do supply 5 gallons of drinking water as well. The stove did have one element which did not work properly which was repaired. We did not see any spiders during cleaning before or after their visit. Our neighbors are very quiet professionals who are seldom home. On the right side the neighbor is over 100 ft away, and on the left over 50 ft. We have the best sandy beach with a nice dock, canoe, paddleboat, bouncy raft, inflatable kayak, tubes, air mattress and lifejackets. Yes, there is no WiFi, but most guests are aware of this from our listing. Phone reception is good and phone hot spots do work for WiFi. The cabin was closed up for a few days due to rain which may have left a musty smell. Once the doors and windows are opened it disappears quickly. Our last review was 5 stars, go figure.
