I absolutely loved this serene place. It reminded me a lot of my grandparents’ home when I was growing up. It was the perfect getaway for parents who needed a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While some people found it too isolated, that’s precisely what we were seeking.

Oh, I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay! So nice to get away and have a break. Please come back anytime. ❤️
Jennifer was a great host and quick to respond. The cottage and property are charming and lovely. Leaving 4 star overall just because the drive time to everything was not super convenient; the roads to get anywhere out there are very winding and it makes travel very slow going. The bunk beds were super hard.
Amazing, peaceful cottage. Very clean, very stylish. Just made us feel at home and the host was amazing to help us rent last minute due to a death in the family nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's cottage. The cottage has many great updates, while maintaining the charms of a mountain home. The location and the view from the front porch are lovely. We enjoyed cooking in the remodeled kitchen. Our dog loved our walks on the property, as well as hikes we took throughout the region. One of the best places I have stayed!
Quaint and Privacy were impeccable cottage was also impeccable. Would stay there again. Home was spaced like we like it room wise and layout was nice. Loved the accents the bed and pillows outside on the porch. Nature about was very nice, turkey, birds, creek nearby was great. Location to Burnesville and Spruce Pine was to our liking and staff were very nice.
Very nice property. If you want private and beautiful location, this is it. Nearest town to buy groceries is Burnsville so get what you need before heading up to property. The only improvement I can think off would be to screen off that corner of the front porch where the bed is….I would have slept out there but scared a spider might get me!
Anna's Cottage is set in a beautiful mountain paradise! It is quiet and secluded. Communication with the host was excellent. When we arrived, the cottage was very clean and the grounds were meticulously maintained. The cottage is super cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared several of our meals. We enjoyed long walks on the property with our dog. We were especially fond of relaxing on the front porch.
This this Old farmhouse has been upfitted with all the latest bells and whistles from refrigerator, electric range, countertops, bath and kitchen hardware and more. There are two bedrooms (be aware that the single bed is a full, not a queen) but the four bunk beds are incredible. The check-in and checkout process is amazing and smooth and the owner is great. My only complaint is just how secluded it is but if that's what you're after it's perfect.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! I did double check the mattress in master and it is a queen. If you are used to a king it does feel smaller for sure.
This property is awesome. Jennifer the host is awesome and her dad is awesome.
This property was exactly what I was looking for: Secluded, close to trails to hike and was beautifully maintained and cared for. I unfortunately had to cut my trip short due to some unexpected medical issues with my dog and Jennifer and her father were very understanding and empathetic towards the situation. I cannot recommend this place or host enough. Great property, even better people. I hope I can get back here soon and enjoy everything that this area has to offer. Thank you again Jennifer and your father for your understanding.
My husband and I stayed here and loved our stay. The place is more than the pictures. It is thoughtfully decorated with all the essentials one needs for a comfortable stay. The property was super clean and outside very well maintained. The owners were very easy to reach and very helpful. I loved my sunrise coffee on the front porch listening to birds. In the back, eastern bluebird was raising a family in the birdhouse the owners put up. We also had wild turkeys and deer visit. The place is near lovely coffee shops and bookstores. We will be back,
Ana’s Cottage was just what we needed for an escape. It was peaceful away from traffic and people. The landscape was beautiful and we enjoyed many naps on the porch with hummingbirds and bees whizzing by. The cottage decor was sweet and we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We regretted only having one week and not two.
