Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry the home did not feel as fresh or as clean as it should have when you arrived. That is not the welcome we want our guests to have. Our homes are non-smoking, and we sincerely wish we had heard from you by phone upon arrival so we could have addressed any odor or cleanliness concerns right away and answered any questions in real time. During busy check-in hours and after hours, calling our office is the best way to reach our team for immediate in-house assistance. We did receive a few of your questions through Vrbo outside of regular business hours, which is why we were not able to reply as quickly as we did to your earlier messages. Our after-hours reply does include instructions to call our office directly if urgent in-house assistance is needed. While our rental agreement and pre-arrival information explain that paper products, soaps, and personal items are not provided, we understand how helpful starter items can be when settling in. We are considering supplying starter items beginning in 2027; however, these would be trial-size items, so we would still suggest guests bring what they need or purchase additional supplies upon arrival. We have shared your comments about the odor and cleanliness with the appropriate teams and this will be addressed immediately. Thank you again for staying with Bluewater.
