CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners, disinfectant sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. Our crews wear protective masks and gloves. We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Departure day, Collect the used towels into the tub/shower. Rinse dishes and load, contractor will run dushwasher. If you booked with a pet please clean up after the pet, hair etc inside and out.
Leave the cabin tidy inside and out. Clean up any food messes to prevent pests or wildlife incidents. Follow trash instructions provided in arrival and departure instructions prior to arrival.
Leave beds and bedding for the contractor, please no bedding on the floor.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please note bookings that have been given pet approval from owner, must provide their own bedding and towels. No glitter, markers, paints.
Bring toiletries, hand/laundry soaps, flashlights. No outdoor burning allowed. No wood in bbq.
Please bring your trash bags, for kitchen and baths to collect and put in outside cans. No flushing objects toilet paper only.

Cold Springs Cabin

The cabin was nice. It comes as advertised. Very accurate listing. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great place in the mountains. Our family enjoyed the cabin and look forward to renting it again.

My daughters and I

My daughters and I spent some great quality time together In this cabin. We loved it; nice and clean. The place had everything we needed to cook, barbecue and plenty of room to just hang out.

Nice cabin in high Sierra, right next to Pinecrest lake

Really nice rustic cabin, a lot of character. Very short drive to Pinecrest lake and hikes. We and our dog Daphnia loved breakfast on a sunny deck and long morning walks in the nearby forest. Also great host, we forgot our blankets but she got them to us after we called her and asked her help. Highly recommend!

Great stay

We went with little kids to enjoy the snow. The description of the place was pretty accurate. We knew what to expect and got prepared and had a great time. The heating was not perfect (Some rooms in the lower floor were cold while top floor got pretty warm) but it is a cabin and definitely it was not a huge problem. It has a cute spacious place with a good location.

Update

The property needs an update. Felt like I walked into the late 70s early 80s. The deck needs to be redone. Boards missing nails. Scary. Parking stinks. Property was clean.

Perfect cabin for a group of 7 girls

Perfect location perfect snow just everything went great! We all had such a good time we can't wait to go back! Sunday the day we left it started snowing and I just wanted to curl up and watch it fall. Beautiful!!! Thank you and we'll stay there again anytime.

Reunion in Cold Springs

Really enjoyed walking the loop in the Cold Springs cabin area a few times. There are some really nice views and a short trail on the lava ridge. There’s also a trail at the bottom of the development that can be taken to the river. Pinecrest Lake, Movie Under the Stars, swimming and hiking were all great. Dinner on the river at Strawberry was delicious. The Pine Crest Store is an icon with fun t-shirts, hats and all kinds of lake stuff. Love it all!

PRETTY DECENT RUSTIC CABIN!

Our Family had a great time (8 humans plus 2 dogs) everything was functional as it is, great location from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (about 14 minutes drive or less) and Pinecrest Lake (10 minutes or less) You can't ask for more for the price! Our only reccomendation to the host is that a few matresses (not all of them) need to be upgraded. The night sky here is gorgeous, and you can take very decent long exposure pictures of the night sky.

Relaxing and beautiful

My family and I enjoyed this beautiful cabin. The only thing we didn't like is not being able to communicate with the manager once we arrived. There is not cell phone service and the land line to the cabin did not work. But it was nice to get away from phones and internet distractions. The cabin location was perfect, pinecrest lake is a few minutes away and there beautiful places to visit!

Cozy and well located.

We had a great time, and Darlene really helped. Upon arrival, the power in the area was out, and she gave us texts, and propane and candles. The cabin became quite toasty once the power went back on.kitchen was well sticked, and the sheets and towered worked fine. Some of the bulk mattresses are pretty thrashed and were uncomfortable, but that is to be expected. Only bummer for us was that the temperature outside warmed so snow turned to rain most of the time :(

Ski race weekend trip

We booked the house for two families for the weekend for our kids to race at Dodge Ridge. We arrived after dinner, checking was seamless. The house did not have wifi which was almost an issue because we had a work issue to handle but it is advertised properly that there is no wifi. There were clean dishes in the dishwasher to be u loaded. They say to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper but there was some of each upon arrival. The communication with the host was easy. 5 kids slept in the loft which is perfect for kids and two couples used the rooms downstairs. We will try to book this same home when we come back to ski dodge ridge. It was a quick 12 minute drive to the resort.

Cozy cabin perfect for big families

Me and my family had an amazing stay. The cabin was spacious and accommodated my family of 10 plus our little pup. Everything was as expected. Only downside was the service for some Verizon and no Wi-Fi but other than that everything was explained accordingly. So close to dodge ridge and Pinecrest. Area gets a lot of snow and icy please bring chains when needed! Cabin had a lovely kitchen area and we all enjoyed the hockey & foosball table for entertainment. Darlene was also very accommodating and even offered late check out which was super nice since the snow was starting to come down hard. She was a great host. We look forward to booking another property in the future.

Great stay for the price!

The place was clean. There were 2 queen beds and two sets of bunk beds and 2 additional twin beds. Plenty of sleeping space. Location was ideal for going up to Pinecrest. We had a blast actually watching old vhs tapes—something unfamiliar to my children. The air hockey table was fun (even though the air didn’t work). It was actually kind of nice having no reception so that people wouldn’t be on their phone. I highly recommend mia’s restaurant—great food at a decent price. Park in front of the house and as much as you can off the road—there is little signage so make sure you park correctly. Very quiet as well!

Beautiful Cabin

We went on Feb.8th weekend. 2 hours before check-in, Darlene called me to inform me that she had to move us because of frozen pipes and lack of access due to snow storm. I was disappointed because we were looking forward to staying up in the Cold Springs area closer to Dodge Ridge and Strawberry especially because we already had plans and dinner reservations. Darlene placed us at a lower altitude area just outside of Mi-Wuk & before Long Barn in the Odd Fellows High Sierra Park Area. I believe it was cabin #2 and I have to say that cabin was very comfortable, great area, beautiful scenery, and just a beautiful and great cabin to be in. Darlene did a great job putting us in a cabin that my family and I very much enjoyed especially after a real bad snow storm and with limited options. Thank you Darlene for accommodating us, making our weekend getaway trip a memorable one and for the great clean relaxing cabin!

It has been a pleasure to serve thousands of guests over the years. We do our very best to make each stay a great experience. The crew works exceptionally hard to keep everything going!
