This was one of the best places I've ever stayed. The outside is very charming but nothing compared to the room. We stayed in the Sailor room which was so cozy and felt like home. I must say the apple pie that greeted us is worth coming back for. The location is so easy to get to from the Providence airport and to drive around and explore. My husband is from Old Mystic so we will be coming back and I can't wait.

Close to downtown Mystic by car. This is a quaint little gem in a quiet location. Our host provided her personal touches to our room and made sure we had fresh cream for our morning coffees and slices of apple pie when we checked in!

To be honest, I was a little trepidatious about renting just a room when we usually rent a whole house, but since we wanted to take advantage of all Mystic has to offer, we went for it. I couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Debbie is the platonic ideal of a host—warm, welcoming, responsive. And the place is so thoughtfully and creatively appointed—everything you need and a delight to spend time in. Everywhere you turn there’s something to bring a smile to your face. If your travels take you to Mystic (and they should), I highly recommend staying here!

Peter and Susan, thank you so much for this incredibly kind review. It truly put the biggest smile on my face. It was such a joy to host you both, and even more so to have the chance to meet and talk with you. I completely understand the hesitation of renting a room when you’re used to having a whole house, so it means a lot to know that the Sailor Room ended up being such a happy fit for your Mystic getaway. You were both just lovely guests in every way, and exactly the kind of people we hope will find their way back to us again and again. We’d be absolutely delighted to host you anytime your travels bring you back to Mystic! Hugs to you both, Debbie (and Paul too:_

One of the nicest places that we have stayed in. Every possible comfort. Old Mystic is lovely-much quieter than the seaport. We prefer it to the port. Our dog Ripley loved the abundant green space next to the house.

Thank you so much, Cristopher☺️ We’re delighted you enjoyed the Sailor Room and its comforts. Old Mystic does have that quiet charm, and it makes me smile to hear you prefer it to the bustle of the downtown. Give Ripley an extra ear scratch from us. We’re so happy he could enjoy the wide open green right outside the house! We’d love to welcome you all back aboard anytime for another peaceful getaway☺️

This is the prettiest little place, so full of charm and welcome. The hosts, Debbie and Paul, we're so kind to us. As it was our birthday, we were greeted with apple pie and San Pellegrino and birthday wishes had a card. It was so thoughtful. The communication was extremely good and the accommodation was delightful, so full of love and care and special little touches in the decor. Short drive to mystic River and all the amenities there and the lovely high Street and aquarium. We'll definitely come again.

Beautiful, quintessential Mystic, CT Room and Board

Such an inviting place to stay. The room was beautiful, the apple pie was great, and we were only a 5-10 min drive to Downtown Mystic. The room was even prepped for our dog with bowls and a toy! Thank you!
