Great Time
We loved this property and will certainly be back. It was very clean and well equipped
This is a very nice property situated on a lake. I went out of season so it was incredibly peaceful. The property owners left a wonderful welcome pack including milk, very thoughtful. Almost everything you could need was provided. A couple of bits like a dishcloth and bigger breakfast bowls would have been good but I am being very picky now.
My only comment about the situation of this lovely home was the road noise which was noticeable .
I would highly recommend this place and its hosts. I will hopefully return soon.
We have never been to Cotswold Water Park before and it really did not disappoint, the chalet was great, lovely and clean with everything we needed, great little welcome pack too!! Even managed to sit on the lovely decking with the fantastic views. The Restaurants dotted around are prefect too, and the water sports were great! Cant wait to return.
We had an amazing, relaxing stay here for the last week.
It is like a home from home with everything provided. The kitchen was well stocked and there were starter packs of everything including tea, coffee, cereals, dishwasher tablets, milk etc.
The view is phenomenal and I loved watching the heron on the opposite side of the lake every morning. The swans also come past.
This is a water skiing lake and that is fun to watch and my daughter enjoyed taking part. We also enjoyed paddleboarding and kayaking on the adjoining lake.
Only small thing that could be improved are locks on the bathrooms.
We would love to visit again😁.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Check-in
first impression not good as cover off the meter box and fan over cooker did not work .
Good location , downstairs accommodation good but tired upstairs main bedroom good but the other two bedrooms were very small and ill equipped.
The waterfront setting was an amazing place. All the lakes around were tbh with plenty of walking and watersports to do. Booking for sports hire and eating out essential at this time, but I did manage to do a few extras while we were there by booking the day before. The brasserie is only a few steps away but was fully booked for food and activities so check before you go.
We had a lovely time. The view of the lake was gorgeous! The food at the restaurant was brilliant and well catered to two of us who have food allergies. The only thing I would suggest is that if you want to do the the water sports on Spring Lake definitely book a few weeks in advance or you may be disappointed.
We all had a lovely week staying at Sarah’s Lodge. The location is good but we struggled to find anywhere to walk to for dinner out. We did walk to one pub which was about 20 minutes and a bit dark walking back. It was wonderful watching the water sports from the lovely terrace - very relaxing especially when the Swans were around. Sadly we had our expensive mountain bikes stolen in the night despite being locked so we would warn you not to leave anything valuable outside. We were told that this was an isolated incident and there had never been any problems at Spring Lake - just unlucky I guess. The Lodge itself is very well equipped. We found everything we needed and Sarah had provided nice little extras such as tea, coffee and some toiletries. Everyone we met at Spring Lake was lovely it’s a very friendly place. Of course the amazing weather we had this week made our stay so much more enjoyable ! We would definitely think about returning at some time. The reason we haven’t given 5 stars for everything was only because of the theft of our bikes. We would suggest that locks are fixed on the bathroom doors - one has no lock and the other didn’t work properly. Also the bath tap is very wobbly and made us a little scared of breaking it. Sarah is an excellent communicator and very helpful - I would highly recommend her Lodge - thanks Sarah 🙏
wE HAD A LOVELY STAY WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED in the house. Sitting on the decking - plenty of comfortable chairs and looking over the lake was stunning. House had lots of extras like games, books etc., felt very much like home. Very satisfied and would return.
Prior to arrival, Sarah was incredibly helpful with questions I had and sent me details of all activities in the local area.
Upon opening the front door the view was beautiful overlooking the lake. The lodge was perfect for our needs, 3 adults, 2 children (6 and 9 years) and our dog. There was adequate space in the lodge and it contained everything we needed.
We all had a lovely break and would definitely return to this lodge and the Cotswold Water Park.
Het huisje was fijn. Wel zichtbaar veel gebruikt. De banken zakten te ver door en de bedden waren te klein en te zacht.

Great location and beautiful outlook over the lake
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace looking at the lake. The house was well equipped although the towels could have been bigger!

Nice location
Good location, swift communication from person managing the property.
In our opinion, the property really is not large enough for 6 adults (or in our case 4 adults and 2 teenagers).
Living area and outdoor space good.
Disappointed that when we stayed no lock on upstairs bathroom (which we could manage without), but also the bathroom door would not close properly. Some of the bedroom doors didn’t close properly either - so limit privacy!
Lack of attention to detail, such as 6th bed in small room not made for our arrival, a light not working in a bedroom and originally not enough forks in the property for us to use on first evening (did subsequently receive more), let it down. When we reported it, we were left with light bulbs on door step to replace ourselves - which we couldn’t due to location of light fitting. The latter, we didn’t mention again, as it appeared too much trouble for the person managing to rectify. For these reasons we wouldn’t stay in that property again.

Schönes Ferienhaus
Ferienhaus enthielt alles, was man als Urlauber braucht. Schöner Seeblick mit großzügiger Terrasse. Diverse Wassersportmöglichkeiten. Leider keine direkte Bademöglichkeit an diesem See möglich. Ausflugsorte (Oxford, Cirencester, Bibury- Cotswolds) von dort gut erreichbar.

Lovely house in a stunning setting...
We spent 3 lovely days at Spring Lake with our 3 children and 2 dogs. The house was perfect - we even had some sunshine so the decked area overlooking the lake was amazing!

Cotswold Lodge, Spring Lake
Cotswold Lodge was the perfect setting for our family break. Nicely situated by the lake, it had everything we needed, including decking with furniture for sitting around in the sun - we were lucky enough to have perfect weather!
All the rooms were attractive, nicely sized and well-maintained and having a shower-room AND a bathroom was a definite plus.
The owner was especially helpful as we got lost on the way there, and left a couple of items behind which they safely returned!
Plenty to do if you like water-skiing and using the gym, and there's a nice little brasserie by the lake too. Even the dog had a great time.
Can't recommend highly enough :o)

Lovely Cotswold Lodge
Myself and husband just returned from this holiday in the Cotswolds and can't wait to return! First impressions of the lodge were - Wow, its lovely - with a feeling of real spaciousness and beautiful views over the lake. Spec. of the property was spot-on with everything in it just as shown in the photographs. In a great position for fishing, canoeing, cycling, riding etc. and visiting stunning villages such as Stow, Bourton on the Water, Bibury etc We all had a wonderful time, helped by the fact that the wather was really sunny nearly all week! Definitely planning on returning - the kids could hardly be dragged away. Great family holiday!
