Great Place to Stay!
This is a comfortable, dual-level, family town home situated 1 block from the beach at Rio Del Mar … just far enough to feel peacefully apart from the crowds, but an easy amble to the beach. This popular beach runs south of Santa Cruz and boasts miles of sand and a variety of restaurants. There is also a shopping center with a major grocery store; sundries and hardware store and other shops and restaurants nearby. A 2 minute walk takes you to the Seacliff State Park and Beach with BBQ and picnic areas, fishing pier and walking path.

This furnished vacation home has vaulted ceilings; tile and carpeted floors; large, open floor plan; and its own private deck. The secluded deck is a wonderful spot to relax and listen to the ocean. The kitchen has a bar counter with bar stools and a separate family style dining table and tiled counter tops.

Linens are included at no extra charge. Stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and blender are all there to make you feel at home during your stay (plates, silverware and cookware provided).

2 Bedrooms, 1 bath. Accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children.

Parking available off-street. Extremely CLEAN, has patio furniture; and a BBQ.

Perfect seaside retreat for our family of 4

The home fit our needs perfectly. We spent our days at the beach, hiking in the State Park, and our evenings at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and visiting friends. The house was well outfitted, including the kitchen. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Perfect getaway

We wanted to see Woodies on the Wharf and just have a nice weekend and this property provided that at 150%! Clean, just as advertised, so close to the beach and so many nice touches that made the day complete. Highly, highly recommend!

Thoroughly delightful stay

The Beachside Aptos condo is a delightful place to stay. Location is ideal, being only a block from a gorgeous, fine sand beach, Rio Del Mar, which is fine for boogie boarding, long romantic walks, or strolling with your poochie. The condo is well appointed, with visitors’ comfort in mind. We cooked great meals, relaxed on the patio and upstairs deck, and enjoyed local restaurants. We look forward to returning to this lovely, light, airy condo soon.

Very happy with our stay. House was clean, lots of towels, hot water, well stocked kitchen. Lots of thoughtful comfort stuff. Dogs loved walking on the beach 1 block away. Owner is very responsive and helpful if needed. Nice to sit on the balcony off the master bedroom in the sun and read. 3 restaurants and store right handy.

Perfect Proximity to Beach

Very clean, well maintained, small row style condo just one block from the beach! Everything that is needed for 2-4 people. Perfect for our family of two adults and two school age children. Street parking is a challenge, but there is a reserved spot in the back of the condo complex for the specific unit.

Awesome location & home!

We had a fabulous time at the beach house. Location was perfect, no need to load up in the car-walking distance to great beaches! House was clean and well stocked with beach gear, basic kitchen needs, and comfortable furniture. Owner is lovely and takes great pride in her home and making sure all is well for your visit. She spent time on the phone with me reviewing the area and fun options for our kids! It was a treat to be so close to the ocean. Thank you!

Beachside Family Fun

So even though we were celebrating our 23rd anniversary, we decided we would make some more memories with our nearly adult kids, and what a great little place to do so! The condo is small and cozy, but well laid out and very close to the dog friendly Rio Del Mar Beach. The place was very clean and comfortable and I would not hesitate to stay there again. There are a few little restaurants close at hand, so you really don't need to leave once there; although we did head up to Aptos Village, to the Aptos St. BBQ, one night to catch some live blues music and some great BBQ too!!! Bottom line is this place is a small, but well appointed, perfectly located place with everything you need for a fun family beach holiday or a romantic get away. I'm sure we will be back!

Great beach rental

This rental is really close to the beach, a deli, a coffee shop and market. The rental was comfortable and had everything we needed. They also allowed pets which is a must for us. Great stay.

Great location

The location of this home is right behind the main street and beach. Easy walking to restaurants, the ocean, and walking paths. The home is comfortable, but with a little more TLC I believe this could be an adorable and more comfortable place to stay. (Nicer sheets and pillows, bedding decore, and more comfortable seating in the living area). We had an issue with getting into the residence, however, the owner worked with us to get access and offered to have it fixed. There were a couple minor issues we had to deal with that will hopefully be taken care of for future stays.

Great beachy location in aptos!

Wonderful location that is walkable to a dog friendly beach. Place had everything we needed. One day there was a trail of ants that came in the house in the setting if a rainy day. Otherwise, no problems and thoughtful host with great communication. Would stay again.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

My son and I stay here every time we come to the beach for vacation. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The location is perfect. Just steps from Rio del Mar beach, and a quick walk to Sea Cliff State Beach. A quick drive to Santa Cruz too. All the restaurants nearby are wonderful. Pixie Deli has great breakfast and lunch and Venus Pie Trap has the best croissants! I would highly recommend staying here.
