I just moved to the island and needed somewhere to stay for a month. I had my own personal studio apartment with private bathroom and private lanai with fruit trees and beautiful flowers. A great spot to have coffee in the morning. Wonderful hosts! I had the pleasure of meeting them when I first arrived. They are always available if you need them but will give you plenty of privacy too. It's also at a nice elevation so it cools down at night. Overall, a fantastic stay! ---- “This is the perfect space to rent. It is a large room, has everything you need to fix meals without having an actual kitchen or stove; mini fridge & plenty of table top space. Has microwave, electric frying pan, hot plate, steamer, colander, coffee pot, tea pot, dishes, silverware, etc. Large bathroom with tub, and plenty of space to store luggage and clothes. Very peaceful sitting out on the Lanai (has table and chair set) with all the beautiful Hawaiian foliage listening to the birds sing. It is about 10 minutes down the hill to Kona. Definitely would stay here again, and recommend to others.” ---- “This place was perfect to stay at. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There isn’t a standard kitchen but there is everything you would need in order to cook at home and save money on eating out. There was a great deck to sit on and relax as well as complimentary chairs, towels , and cooler to take to the beach. We will definitely be making this the place to stay when we come back!” ---- “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse’s Hibiscus room. The place is very clean, conveniently located near Kona and beautiful beaches and has all the essentials including kitchenette appliances and beach gear. The property is full of lush vegetation such as hibiscus plants, papaya trees, banana trees, pineapple trees, etc. You wake up to the lovely sound of chirping birds and will see a variety of wildlife, even chameleons if you are lucky. We would highly recommend this place to nature lovers who are looking for practicality and being in the center of all the good stuff on West Big Island.”
