Surprisingly Not Amazing

Firstly, this review has nothing to do with Luis, who was good.I will say that we visit Brickell often. We know that paying premium prices is a norm. But with that, should come a level of quality, and this location didn’t deliver.The pictures we saw when booking didn’t equal the place we walked in to.The outlets didn’t work and every plug we had (regular normal US plugs) fell out at the slightest touch. Makes charging your phone a hassle.The bathroom was filthy upon arrival. Hair in the tub, stained towels, etc. We cleaned the bathroom for our use and we washed the towels with soap we brought. Sadly, the washer & dryer came with no detergent, just an empty bottle.The bedroom was not set up very well. Instead, we walked into what looked to be leftover party material from a previous occupant on the walls. The upholstery on the bed was in bad shape. Torn and cracked leather all over the sides and the headboard. Made the place feel dirty.The mattress itself was not good at all, and the pillows were horrendous! Like cmon, get some nicer pillows.The iron was good - ironing board was not covered, and instead of looking through the closet for the cover we just used a towel. This isn’t how a stay should go.Oh yea, we also totally lost power one night overnight. Woke up to air off, no electricity etc…No baggage holding for travelers on check out,Place needs a makeover bad. We would not stay here again.The living room is nice, view and location are amazing, iconspa was nice.
