We celebrated our anniversary at the Ranvik House on our 4th visit. It's become our favorite getaway location. The home is situated on the no-bank beach with water view from almost every room. The kitchen is well stocked with all your cooking and baking needs. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. We can't wait for our next visit.

Beautiful home on a beautiful beach, with great views of passing cruise ships and sea life. House had a lovely beachy vibe and was well-appointed with a fully stocked kitchen. Communication with the host could not have been better, he checked in several times over the course of the weekend to ensure that everything was perfect. Beautiful slice of paradise.

Thanks for the accolades , Thanks for alerting folks that a slice of paradise less than 50 miles from Seattle & can be reached in 90 minutes! Best, Dan
Our 3rd stay at Ranvik house, still stunning, peaceful, and relaxing. We ventured outside Whidbey island this trip. We visited San Juan island, gorgeous views on the ferry ride, quaint little town. We ate breakfast at Rocky Bay Delicatessen, very good! We also drove to the North loop of the Cascades, it was a long day, but very much worth it. On Whidbey we checked out Double Bluff Beach, found lots of cool rocks, shells, and crabs. As always Dan was the best host!

Thanks for the nice summary of you time & travelogue !
And as always it was my pleasure to have you stay at Ranvik. I look forward to your next journey north from Texas. Dan
This is a beautiful property on Whitby Island with amazing views, three bedrooms with king beds and all around outstanding amenities. The owner is awesome and does a great job communicating. All rentals on Whitby Island should know about the US Navy base and their fighter jets that fly around periodically creating significant noise. Overall that wasn’t a massive factor although it did limit our time outside when the fighter jets were flying. Having the pool available a block away was an extra nice feature. Thankfully, the pool is heated as well. We look forward to returning sometime.

Matt: Thanks for your review and the nice photo you shared. We look forward to another stay for you & your family. Dan
A beautiful home right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable furniture and well-stocked kitchen. Instructions for all the relevant equipment. There are entry stairs that do not show in the photos which posed a challenge for me as I use a walker, but once inside, the house and deck were easy to access. The kingfisher, heron, and eagle were a bonus!

Thanks for the nice review. The front of the house isn't displayed as we don't want potential "bad guys" to know the house if not occupied full time. But we always share that info if people ask. Thankfully the stairs are wide and low which ables most people with walks relatively easy access.
Ranvik Beach House is amazing! The location is so nice, quiet and peaceful. The house itself is beautiful, clean and well appointed. We were so comfortable there on our three night stay!Dan was very communicative and helpful with not only information on the house but also with recommendations for nearby places to go and see. The location is perfect as it is close to Coupeville and a thirty minute drive into Langley. We enjoyed exploring Whidbey Island so much and having this home as our base was perfection. We are appreciative and would love to return :)

The kitchen is well appointed -- had a few meals in and had all we needed. Great signage and instructions helping us to easily use all we needed access to in the house. Dan was so responsive and super helpful. Close to downtown Coupeville, which is a very charming little town with great restaurants. View from house is second to mone - gorgeous! Highly recommend this property.

Thank you for the kind words Kathy!
Lisa especially loves your Coastal Living Magazine as she gets all the credit for making the house interior so amazingly beautiful.
I could just sit and look at the beautiful view for hours, but then I would want to walk on the beach and watch the tides change. The sunsets were also spectacular.
