Nice rustic cabin. Perfect space for a family visiting the area. Pretty well stocked with necessary kitchen items. Host was responsive and helpful when needed. Quick & easy access to west Yellowstone!
Cozy little cabin right off the highway convenient to West Yellowstone. About a 10 minute drive into town and entrance to the park. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay. View from the front window.
Cabin itself was great! Less than 10 minutes from shopping, food, gas, etc. I didn’t realize though that the cabin is right off of the highway which it does get loud at times. I did not see that in the description which would have deterred me. Host responded quickly, cabin was clean and nice!
The property was very nice. The stream in the back of the cabin would be much more enjoyable If you could see it. Trimming away the bushes would make it much more enjoyable. And relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
The property was clean. Ice maker and water in fridge didn't work as it was part of advertisement. Smoke alarm in bedroom going off, not hardwired in the house battery operated only. No instructions on how to operate the front door. No communication prior to arrival. Heat, but no A/C, can open windows but you listen to the traffic that is the main road to the park. Bill is very accomodating, but high priced for what it is.

Response from VrboOwner on 12 July 2026
Hi Bill,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do apologize for the water/ice maker not working. The parts are on order and unfortunately were not available to replace before your stay ended. Vrbo sends the check in details 3 days prior to arrival, so if you didn't receive those or had questions, we'd have been happy to help if you'd have called or messaged us. We're also a little confused about the smoke alarm, as we checked it after you left, and it's working just fine. So we're curious why you did not report any issues during your stay, perhaps because you had a pet that you did not add to your reservation. We live next door and would have been happy to address any reported issue immediately. For the a/c, very few places up here have it because there's really no need for it. There's about a two week window in late July where houses might get warm for about 2 hours in the late afternoon, and for those 14 hours out of the year, opening the windows on the north and east sides and turning on the fans works extremely well. Plus, most guests are in the park during that time of day, so it's usually not an issue for them. But no matter where you are in West Yellowstone, you will hear road traffic because everything is built close to the roads in order to protect the National Forest that surrounds the town. That's part of the beauty of West Yellowstone. So we're not quite sure what we could have done differently for you, but wish you happy and safe travels. ~ Best Wishes, Bill
Great location to visit Yellowstone NP. The house was clean, the bed comfortable, plenty of room for 4 women! The extras provided by the owner Bill were perfect. We loved it and would highly recommend this house.
This cabin was amazing and even better then described. We would definitely book again.
