THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Capitol Hill's North end — quieter and more residential than the Broadway strip, but with everything within easy walking distance. Volunteer Park is at the end of the block: the Asian Art Museum, the Conservatory's tropical plants, the water tower with city views, and 48 acres of Olmsted-landscaped paths. The Harvard-Belmont Historic District surrounds the home with some of Seattle's most architecturally significant residential blocks. 15th Ave E has its own café and shop scene. Broadway and the Pike-Pine corridor are 20 minutes on foot or a short bus ride.
