The place was perfect for our small family group. There was space enough that we could spread out and we were able to enjoy dinner in after a long travel day. And we're able to enjoy breakfast together before our day of sightseeing in Portland! We loved being in St John's (near where our son lives). We will likely stay here again!
Always a delight to stay here! The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped, and just a short distance from our Portland family. Amy and her staff are responsive and responsible. We never want to stay anywhere else.
We loved our time here! This home is spacious, clean and exceptionally well equipped. The yard is lovely (even in the rain). We can't wait to stay here again!
Great stay in St. John’s. The house is lovely. Beds very comfortable and home is well stocked. Walked into downtown St. John’s several times. Food options great. One thing to make sure future guests know, there is a lower level tenant that you do hear. This was not an issue for us, but if this will bother you, maybe consider staying elsewhere. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Portland.
The house was nicely stocked. It had nice selection of utensils, herbs, and spices, silverware, crockery, and glasses and cups, there was also some tea and coffee available. Very clean.
Very nice house, particularly the master bath is 👌. Everything is very clean and organized with a high end luxury feel.
I slept in the master and didn’t have any issues. My guests slept upstairs and noted that the mattress thickness was a bit thin and firm but ymmv.
We had such a great time and kept marveling at how nice this property is. Clean, spacious, incredibly well-appointed kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and a nice little backyard space. The commercial part of St. Johns is just a 12-minute walk away, where there are coffee shops, a vegan restaurant, a Korean restaurant, a cozy spot for handmade pasta, some bars, and a small movie theater. Sparrow Bakery is also about a 15-minute walk away. We did have a car, so we used that to explore other parts of Portland, like Belmont, the Pearl District, and the Rose Garden. If you’re looking to stay in North Portland this home is 10/10 and I hope to visit again.
Great stay, very clean. Walkable to some close coffee shops/food options. Cute neighborhood. Front yard and porch are great for hanging out. Only complaint is cookware could be updated, pots and pans were chipping non-stick ware and tupperware was hard to come across. The outdoor kids play area was pretty dirty, everything could use a good cleaning but other than that great. Great kids dinner ware variety. Overall, great stay!
