My family and I had an amazing experience! The cabin was clean, cozy, and tranquil. Perfect for what we were wanting. The views from the deck were incredible! We saw wildlife everyday which was super cool and the kids loved! Even the drive up and down the mountain to and from the cabin was an experience! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering it!
The drive from Cañon City to the cabin is incredible. We saw deer, turkey and 1 fox during our stay. Hummingbirds competed all day at the feeder. The deck is perfect for morning coffee or an evening bourbon. This location was just what we needed.
The location is rural - about 14 miles of dirt roads and can be scary in parts if you are not used to height and no guard rails - it didn’t bother us and we loved it as it was a beautiful drive. We saw deer, prairie dogs, rabbits, free range cows and on our last day, a young fox. Host was very responsive to our questions. WiFi was good. Peaceful area. Watch the step into the bathroom/sauna area as there is a step down that you don’t expect. Kitchen had everything we needed.

I’m glad you enjoyed the scenery, it’s what the Cabin is all about!
We loved the deck the most. It's gated so we were able to keep our dogs contained while sitting and enjoying the view. There's a humming bird feeder hanging on the deck and there we're so many hummming birds.
Perfect place for a relaxing stay in an isolated cabin in the mountains surrounded by nature. The view from the porch and living room is an inspiration to read books with a fantastic view on the mountains. Especially after a nice sauna. Great place.
Overall, had a great time at the cabin. Remote location with a few houses nearby. Beds hadn't been changed and pillow was filthy. Previous renters blankets were piled up in laundry room and toilet in shower room became clogged on first day. Overall, the place was clean and kitchen was modern and fully equipped. Price was reasonable and would stay again. Would hope that next time the linens and pillows would be replaced.

The cabin was everything we had hoped for. The view is stunning the stars at night are like you dream about seeing. The cabin and area were very clean and quiet (with a capital Q) Deer and turkeys in the yard almost every day.The only down part is the 30 min. drive to get milk or gas, but the drive to Canon City is one of the most beautiful drives you will ever take. Great trip hope to come back soon.
It was as though it was our home … the location is good and the scenery is breathtaking.. the nature animals visited us daily and the snow was fantastic
Our family had a nice and relaxing time at this cabin, which was clean, cozy and comfortable. It is quite remote with a 15-mile drive on a curvy dirt road, so it's good to arrive in daylight. We did have trouble accessing the wi-fi but loved the mountain views and enjoyed the quiet get-away. We were able to cook family meals in the updated kitchen but should have brought some foil.
We stayed here for a weekend family getaway. Great location, secluded, beautiful views and start gazing. We were met by deer out front our first morning, sadly they did not appear too fearful of people so letting our dog outside was a little tough. Overall a great place for any nature lover.
We stayed 2 nights on our way to Aspen. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the porch and sauna. If this cabin is one of your options, you won’t be disappointed.

Middle of know where.
About 30min of westcliffe. Quiet for your recovery. Good rooms and beds. Solid intranets and build. Follow the specific instructions given and you will get there. Was perfect for climbing downtime.
We go to Colorado every year. This year we couldn’t stay with my mom, because her new home wasn’t complete in time. We wanted something off the beaten path, and this fit the bill exactly. Beware though if you value cell service, but the WiFi helped alot. The owner was receptive to all of my questions. Overall it was a great stay. The view was amazing.
